Yesterday and today - I'm feeling crap!

I've managed to wreck my elbow, yet again, on the tennis court - so now I'm out for a cuppla weeks while it heals itself. I've given it instructions to pick up its act, so.....

But the weather is just magic - those crisp, chilly, blue-skied Sydney winter days, nights clear and cold.

And we're doing pretty OK finally in the cricket, so...taint all bad! Thye need some Sydney weather at Lords - because rain is expected! Sheeesh!

I'm feeling renewed. Yesterday I took a nap in the afternoon and was asleep for the night by 9:00pm. It's exactly what I needed and I'm ready to face the world again.

How many times have I told you, margo: Stay OFF that tennis court!

Seriously though, what a drag. My commiserations. And I do hope your elbow responds to your strict instructions!

That sucks, margo. Behave, margo's elbow!

The weekend was good, I am indeed feeling more human, if a rather bleary human. Got lots of pressing stuff out of the way (cleaning and such), neatened up job situation (prioritizing, although oddly after two emails one guy still doesn't seem to comprehend that I've turned down the job he offered), and have a bit more room to be creative, in theory anyway (see "bleary"...)

Dismal. A relapse, it seems. A totally clogged up head. Dizzy, snotty & rather deaf. Damn, damn, damn. Sad

Oh, right. Mr. Green
Well, we have air conditioner in the office, thank God, but yes in the afternoon it's pretty annoying. I haven't got a car so I have to break my way through town home by public transport, which is rather challenging.. Confused I like trams but I hate the tube.
I have a bottle of water with me all the time...

How about you? It must be just the same in Melbourne, mustn't it? Very Happy

Guess what? My Dad lived in Melbourne for 7 years!!! If he had stayed a bit longer, I might have been living in the seaside by now.... Confused Mr. Green

Hi Crazielady420!

Well, Budapest is the capital of Hungary. Hungary is in the middle of Europe. I trust I don't need to say more of Europe... Mr. Green Razz

What is it like? Beautiful! Smile Hot! Smile Growing, developing all the time. Lovely place to choose for a vacation. River Danube divides the town into two sides. There are mountaines in it, beautiful hotels, and lots to do! SmileSmileSmile

A very small world, isn't it, shadowboxer? It often surprises me, someone always knows someone you know, or has been here for a visit, or married someone, or has an uncle ...! Surprised Laughing

And yes, Melbourne can be extremely hot in summer. Dry heat. Luckily for me I'm usually on holiday during January. And also luckily for me, this little terrace house I live in stays as cool as a cucumber during the hottest of days (though can warm up at night). But summer is my favourite time of the year, so why do I sound like I'm complaining? Cool
