@Finn dAbuzz,
What part is a lie, Hawkeye's beautiful scripted prose, the fact he wasn't bullied at school, or that he doesn't consider viewing child pornography as a victimless crime?

What part did I get wrong?

Someone who believes taxis run on "special" petrol really shouldn't call anyone else delusional.

So since hawk and bill and oral all think blm protestors arre thugs, you guys probably have no problem with the five. Blm protestors shot by white goys in minneapolis, right? They're "thugs" so they dederve it, right? Look arthe new cnn pol which shows 80 percent of the coutry thinks racism is still a problem, asnd stop trying to sweep it under the rug and make excuses for it.

The way that question tends to be worded those who say yes could be saying that the problem is that wanna be victims are complaining, not that there's a problem with race fairness. Not that you would look that far as you seem to be the kinda guy who tends to see what you want to see.

@izzythepush,
Given that you are supporting ISS and it actions such as it murders or the luring young females to run away from their homes to become the 'wives' of the poor disaffected young men of ISS I do not think you have must moral room to comment about anyone else.

I would like a little more details as at the moment it seems likely that those protestors was part of a mob chasing those shooters.

Unlike you I would like a few facts before drawing any conclusions.

@BillRM,
Is anyone caring about BLM anymore? It has pretty much disappeared from my social media feeds. That audience that had been on and on about BLM is all Trump Hate now.

I'm really pissed about some inane bullshit being perpetrated at universities...some involving people who say they're BLM - and some, other idiots. I'd like to relieve myself of this anger, so of course, I'll do it here - so when my family brings it up at Thanksgiving, I have a better chance of keeping my mouth shut.

http://eagnews.org/dartmouth-black-lives-matter-protesters-confront-students-studying-in-school-library/

People saying they are BLM (what does that even mean anymore? who vouches for affiliation?) assaulted students - and the response is nonsensical.

This should go to court.

I feel ya, this is going to be a challenging year to keep the fights on the down low. I think that a lot of us are feeling in our families now this fracturing of America. The main problem is that we disagree now on what reality is, and people are very emotionally invested in what they believe about what is true, this is way beyond not agreeing on approaches for fixes.

We took a family vote this year and decided that politics is off limits, which is a first for us.

EDIT: I never have gotten interest before but it might be time to try again a thread on the health of the American University. I would be in.

@BillRM,
I'm not supporting IS. You came to that conclusion because you're stupid. I've been explaining some of the dynamic in the ME, but like Dubya you prefer ignorance, and just like him you'll make the situation a whole lot worse.

"Safe spaces" (snort) being weaponized? So you can rough up someone if they've encroached on a "space" you consider yours?

Lawsuits. I never thought I'd advocate lawsuits.

@hawkeye10,
I listen to the Fox News contingent of the family (only my mom and a new distant cousin by marriage) and I kick my daughter under the table. I usually keep quiet.

But I think Trump is popular with these people - and I have a hard time not offering a divergent opinion about him...and that could lead to Hatfields and McCoys...

A group associating themselves with BLM last night in Minnesota...

The result of a succession of bad decisions = five shot.

@izzythepush,
I do not remember one postings of your showing any concerns for the victims of ISIS but one hell of a lot of postings concerning the poor mistreated ISIS young men and how we need to understand their feelings.

So yes you are a supporter of such killers.

Not sure what other "decisions" are pertinent here besides the "decision" of three men to shoot into a crowd after the "decision" they made to confront the protesters they had been talking about on white supremacist websites for days before the incident.

@snood,
The decision to counter-protest, the decision to "herd" the counter-protesters, the cops letting that situation fester, the decision to take a gun... plenty of bad decisions.

Seems like a false equivalency of blame if anyone but the people who came there expressly to commit violence are seen as culpable.

@snood,
I hear you. I believe each of those decisions led to the result. I'm thankful no one died. Ultimate culpability, if it's not obvious, is on the shooter.

At the moment I know nothing about it. I'll get back to you if/when I learn enough about it to form an opinion (probably a little later tonight).

I don't care if every single other person in the world thinks something. I'm still going to form my own opinion.

That said, I'm sure there are plenty of racist events that happen every day in this country.

You are not allowed to wait until the facts are known as there was white guys and black guys and the black guys end up being shot so of could it must be the white guys fault.

Just like when a white police officer end up shooting a black man it must be murder or attempted murder as all white police officers live for the day they can kill a black man.
