I can't really remember, but I think I first played Super Mario/Duck Hunt. That was when I was about 6. Then my Uncle got me The Legend of Zelda when I was about 8. I worshiped that game. It was the one game that got me into RPG/adventure games. And I've played almost every single Zelda game from then onward. I eventually switched to Final Fantasy after I beat Zelda about 5 times. Then I was officially hooked for life.

So, in short, it was Mario/Duck Hunt for me.

Pong. Then Atari Combat. I vividly remember blowing my brother's tank through the other side of the tv screen. Man, he hated that!

Pong in a West Virginia tavern. I was nervous of this new game. Had a feeling my pinballs were history. I had just come back from Spain where I had played every pinball machine in the country. Then Pac Man but I didn't like the intensity. Battlezone was an enchanting tank game but my favorite was one where a bomber went over a scrolled terrain. It might be a space ship. I think it started with the letter X. Anybody help me here?

This is an emulator for all the old arcade games. They really work but you need the ROMS for them.
I can help with sourcing them so drop me a line.
Just been playing Phoenix and Moon Patrol.

I think the first game I played was a word game on an ancient RML380Z machine that a friend had written. As for games with graphics It may have been Mazogs on the ZX81 or something similar.

I vote Winky Dink too!I just used a crayon on the big 6" scrreen for Winky Dink. Not only rubbed off, so move didn't see it, but kept the screan clean and shiny.

My first vidio game was on a Nintendo, the game was "A Nightmare On Your Street", a game about the great Horror Movie "A Nightmare On Elm Street".
