In the 1960s, when I was in my mid twenties, I bleached my hair white. I was totally shocked, (and then terribly resentful) of the attention that I was getting. Sheesh.......a bottle of bleach does not change you as a person, although some guys seem to think that it does!

Unfortunately, I can't claim to be the author of those lyrics. They are by Savage Garden, the cheesy and (possibly) no-longer-existent Europop group, and the song is titled, as you might guess, "Truly, Madly, Deeply."
