BLACKSVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - Warning: smoking in the toilet can be dangerous. A portable toilet exploded Tuesday after a man who was inside it lit a cigarette.

Emergency workers said the man was not severely injured and drove himself to Clay-Battelle Community Health Center. He was later transferred to Ruby Memorial Hospital. His name and condition were not available Wednesday.

The explosion, which occurred in Blacksville, resulted from a buildup of methane gas inside the portable toilet. The methane did not "take too kindly" to the lit cigarette, said a spokeswoman for Monongalia Emergency Medical Services.

Rock on dude! Did you notice how feeble Craven's sense of humor has gotten about this? I think he's starting to feel the heat. And Sissycan doesn't even say hello when he stops in anymore. Wussies.

As for you popcorn critics, I sure hope you're happy. I noticed almost simultaneously last night that I was popping my last bag of popcorn... and that I was getting a little softer around the mid-section. So no more popcorn now either (like popcorn cravings are going to faze me).

So, so far we've proven that 12 and 20 year smoking careers are easy enough to extinguish. I think we're ready for one of you longtime big shots to step in and show us what manning up is all about. Who's it gonna be?

Tell me about it. It wasn't even his humour. He just paraphrased an old Jack Handy bit, substituting "cigs" for "beer." Smile

Bill,

I used to use Craven's line from the last post all the time. And I meant it - just as I'm sure that you meant it every time you said it too.

One thing you've gotta remember is that it was fairly easy for you to quit this time because you were ready to quit - same with me.

If I wasn't ready to quit it would be absolute hell. And why quit if you aren't ready to quit...

Let's be happy that we've done it and supportive of those who wish to quit as well. But not down on those who want to keep smoking - cause it's their life to live as they choose.

Yup, I used to think that too, too Jer. I'm not trying to judge anybody. I only mention names if I've been asked to, accept for Craven and the other sissy. Them I just like to mess with. Btw, did you see how long it's taking them to play a single game of chess? Shocked Nicotine must clog up the brain. Laughing
