People need to understand that the US is not the world's police.

Except of course when there is a famine, an epidemic, a natural disaster, or anything else a country cant handle on its own.
Then they call the US to come save them.
If we arent the worlds police, we must start saying no to calls for our help, and let other countries save themselves.

Then the USA uses the money it has stolen from those same peoples to pretend it is this kind benevolent nation. Pure claptrap, MM!

But I see that you are still a muddle headed sheeple.

Like in Sierra Leone or Mali?

No, that wasn't the Americans, it was the British and the French. The Americans couldn't be bothered.

Liar, it is agreed that you boys handle your former colonies under the " you broke it, you fix it" theory.

@hawkeye10,
You have these infrequent spurts of honesty, Hawkeye, where you seem to momentarily escape the clutches of the USA propaganda system. It must be hell on earth trying to be honest in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Freedom of speech, what a pathetic joke, eh?

@hawkeye10,
I doubt very much if what was going on in Sierra Leone could be put down to the UK. Be that as it may, when you look at a table of donating nations by Gross National Income the real picture is quite clear.
Luxembourg – 1.00%
2. Sweden – 0.99%
3. Norway – 0.93%
4. Denmark – 0.84%
5. Netherlands – 0.71%
6. United Kingdom – 0.56%
7. Finland – 0.53%
8. Ireland – 0.48%
9. Belgium – 0.47%
10. France- 0.45%
11. Switzerland – 0.45%
12. Germany – 0.38%
13. Australia – 0.36%
14. Canada – 0.32%
15. Austria – 0.28%
16. New Zealand – 0.28%
17. Portugal – 0.27%
18. Iceland – 0.22%
19. United States – 0.19%
20. Japan – 0.17%
21. Spain – 0.15%
22. South Korea – 0.14%
23. Italy – 0.13%
24. Greece – 0.13%

Pity the "you broke it you fix it" theory isn't applied to America or American companies or you'd be bailing out all of Latin America, not to mention Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Laos etc. etc.

In response to a direct, unprovoked attack on us that killed three thousand civilians on purpose. There is almost no one who doesn't believe that a country has a right to respond to a direct attack.

@Brandon9000,
Afghanistan didn't ever, has never attacked the USA, but the USA has at least twice caused untold suffering and death to the afghan people.

The USA committed the ultimate of war crimes when it illegally invaded Afghanistan.

------------

Afghanistan: The Other Illegal War
The U.S. invasion of Afghanistan was every bit as illegal as the invasion of Iraq. Why, then, do so many Americans see it as justifiable?

Germany now tells Moscow "this is their last chance," but what does that exactly mean? How many more delays will be allowed? When is the deadline, if any?

Seems there's a lot of talk, but afraid to take any real action against Russia.

It seems the urgency is not really urgent.

Is the US and allies preparing for the worst? If not, why not? Not urgent?

@Brandon9000,
What about Vietnam, Laos, Nicaragua, El Salvador, etc. etc?

Many people in the ME saw America's unqualified support of Israel coupled with the propping up of corrupt dictators as provocation enough. Not to mention the presence of 'infidel' troops on holy land. Why do you think there was so much celebration throughout the ME? And that was before Iraq.

So, for example, you'd advocate cutting off significant interaction with China and the middle eastern dictatorships?

@Brandon9000,
What izzy is likely advancing is that the USA actually perform according to how USA propaganda says the USA performs. That has so far never happened in the history of the USA.

----------------

Ukraine
When it gets complicated and confusing, when you’re overwhelmed with too much information, changing daily; too many explanations, some contradictory … try putting it into some kind of context by stepping back and looking at the larger, long-term picture.

The United States strives for world domination, hegemony wherever possible, their main occupation for over a century, it’s what they do for a living. The United States, NATO and the European Union form The Holy Triumvirate. The Holy Triumvirate has subsidiaries, chiefly The International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization, International Criminal Court … all help to keep in line those governments lacking the Holy Triumvirate Seal Of Approval: the IMF, WB, and WTO impose market fundamentalism, while foreign leaders who act too independent are threatened with being handed over to the ICC for heavy punishment, as the United States imposes sanctions on governments and their leaders as only the King of Sanctions can, lacking any sense of hypocrisy or irony.

And who threatens United States domination? Who can challenge The Holy Triumvirate’s hegemony? Only Russia and China, if they were as imperialistic as the Western powers. (No, the Soviet Union wasn’t imperialistic; that was self-defense; Eastern Europe was a highway twice used by the West to invade; tens of millions of Russians killed or wounded.)

Since the end of the Cold War the United States has been surrounding Russia, building one base after another, ceaselessly looking for new ones, including in Ukraine; one missile site after another, with Moscow in range; NATO has grabbed one former Soviet Republic after another. The White House, and the unquestioning American mainstream media, have assured us that such operations have nothing to do with Russia. And Russia has been told the same, much to Moscow’s continuous skepticism. “Look,” said Russian president Vladimir Putin about NATO some years ago, “is this is a military organization? Yes, it’s military. … Is it moving towards our border? It’s moving towards our border. Why?”
