@buttflake,
No; stop the settlement expansions that steals Palestinian property, give Palestinians equal legal rights, let Palestinians travel freely in Israel, stop bombing their schools and hospitals, return their water resources, stop killing innocent Palestinians, and return their properties.

Stop hiding rockets and weapons in those schools. Stop launching rockets. And start asking why no Arab country wants the Palestinians.

Jordan refuses to let in the more than 1,000 Palestinians stranded along the Syria-Jordan border, even though it has allowed 100,000 Syrian refugees to enter. There are at present an estimated 500,000 Palestinian refugees in Syria, and clearly the last thing the rulers of Jordan want is for them to come streaming into Jordan.

The rulers of Jordan believe they have a demographic problem, and Palestinians are not wanted in Jordan. Jordanian spokesmen insist over and over again that Jordan is not a Palestinian state, and the assertion heard now and then that Jordan is Palestine is considered subversive propaganda in Amman.

@cicerone imposter,
These are the facts most supporters of Israel fails to acknowledge. They have no sense of fair play, common sense, or humanity for others. Their god-given gift of Israel is a travesty against the Palestinians that sees no end. Their god is a bigot and murderer. That's the reason common sense tells us there is not such thing as a god; it's a figment of people's imagination that only creates more violence of one people against another. Human life is more precious than any mythological god.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israeli tank shells hit a compound housing a U.N. school in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing at least 15 people and wounding dozens who were seeking shelter from fierce clashes on the streets outside, Palestinian officials said, as Israel pressed forward with its 17-day war against the territory's Hamas rulers.

Pools of blood stained the school courtyard in the northern town of Beit Hanoun, amid scattered books and belongings. There was a large scorch mark in the courtyard marking the place where one of the tank shells hit. Dozens of people, including children were wheeled into a nearby hospital as sirens wailed.

@cicerone imposter,
You could repeat the same thing hundreds of distinct times, substituting any number of nationalities for 'Palestinian', 'the USA' for 'Israel', CI.

Why don't you? Why the grand hypocrisy?

No, it most certainly isn't. But it is all the USA has done in its entire existence. Why the focus on the USA? Because the USA is the country that financially and actively supports that same terrorism to happen by Israel against the palestinian people.

The USA is the country that is once again supporting the Separate but Equal nonsense that was a large part of its own history.

Efforts to secure a ceasefire between Israel and the militant Hamas movement are intensifying as the death toll in the 18-day conflict continues to climb.

US Secretary of State John Kerry has been in Cairo meeting Egypt's foreign minister and the UN secretary general.

Gaza faced more Israeli shelling and air strikes overnight, while Israeli towns raised the alarm over Hamas rockets on Friday morning.

More than 800 Palestinians have now been killed, as well as 35 Israelis.

Most of the Palestinian deaths have been civilians, while 33 of Israel's dead have been soldiers - the latest on Friday during an operation in northern Gaza, Israel's military said.

One Thai worker has also died in Israel.

In other developments:

At least two Palestinians died in overnight protests at Qalandia, in the West Bank, after 10,000 protesters massed and clashed with Israeli border police

Clashes were also reported overnight in East Jerusalem

Palestinian groups called for a "day of rage" on Friday in the West Bank and Gaza

Israel says it killed a senior member of militant group Islamic Jihad in Gaza on Friday morning

Rocket alert sirens were heard in central and southern Israel.

Israel launched its military offensive on 8 July with the declared objective of stopping Hamas firing rockets into Israel.

It has since discovered a network of tunnels used by militants to infiltrate Israeli territory, and has vowed to destroy them to restore security.

@Frank Apisa,
The issue is recognition, not evacuation. Jews were living on that land
before the time of Jesus. The New Testament says so.

@JoeBruno,
So, according to the Jews, anyone who lives on land that they didn't occupy for over 3000 years, ownership belongs to the longest living occupants of that land.

Only in Israel, but not in the rest of the world.

How convenient!

Jews are allowed to occupy any land they wish in Israel without paying for it. All they need to do is take the land by force, and build settlements on them.

Jews HAVE been on that land for thousands of years. So have Arabs. And for thousands of years they lived in relative peace with one another.

Then the state of Israel came into existence...and it has been neighbor killing neighbor ever since.

Jews do not have to go...and I would never advocate for that.

But the state of Israel does have to go from that area.

That argument would go over well at Middle East Peace agreement meeting between the side of Israel and Palestine, neither of which believes in the New Testament as written.

That's a rationalization based on religious mythology.

Europeans whose ancestors converted to the religion do no have more rights to Palestine than the Palestinians who are indigenous thereof.

Of course, the Jews were expelled by the Romans in the second century. So Jews have not lived there continuously for two thousand years. That's just a small detail to the Zioniests. The Zionists are no better than the Islamists like ISIS.

@Setanta,
The Zionists are worse than ISIS because they should know better, and they call themselves a democracy. Stealing other people's property and equality is not a democracy by any definition.

Today I saw in the NYTimes a picture of a lone Palestinian girl in Gaza walking among the mounds of bricks from bombed out buildings, a gift from Israel. Israeli forces have attacked three Gazan medical facilities and repeatedly bombed UN buildings with Gazan innocents inside, women and children. That Israel with its superior weapons should be allowed to get away with this is indefensible, and to continue choking off people who are not free to come and go, is an unforgivable sin. If Israel did not continue taking Palestinian land they need have no fear of rockets. And to think the American tax payer pay these Zionists 3~5 billion annually! I am well beyond anger!

It is a historical fact that the Israelites were there for a good thousand years before Jesus.

You have two major factual errors there.

The Europeans that you are referring to did not convert to Judaism, but are the actual descendants of the Israelites.

The Palestinians are in no way indigenous to the West Bank. They come from somewhere else.
