Well it appears that you're suggesting a scenario where we never take any action to stop them. No amount of military might is going to stop a genocide if it all sits unused as the genocide occurs.

Also, they may be small in number now, but if they are allowed to conquer more and more of the world, their numbers will grow substantially.

What are they going to do have all ten thousands members running around cutting the throats of all 300 millions of us?

You are the one claiming that they are a genocide threat to us and that is beyond silly.

If no one had ever taken any action to stop al-Qa'ida after 9/11, and they had been allowed to conquer the world unopposed, they would have been able to carry out that genocide.

How the hell would they have been able to employed genocide against us if we had not attacked and driven them out of their bases????????

Such outfits are a terrorist threat they are not a military or a genocide threat to us.

Maliki's army moved out because the ISIS was on the way, so the Kurds took it. THe few thousand ISIS are not going to mess with 75,000 highly trained, highly motivated and well supplied Kurdish fighters.

Only if we all as in all 300 millions of us was nice enough to offer to do mass suicide.

We have over fifty percent of the total military power on this earth so being frighten of some small terrorist group is once more beyond silly.

By invading the country next to them, then repeating the process with the next country, and the next, and the next.

In a hypothetical scenario where no one ever does anything to stop them, it would be pretty easy.

And as they conquer more and more countries, they will not stay tiny.
