I ask because I'm interested in the answers I may receive.
I'm glad that you're sure that you can predict them, but I'm not.
I think the two most likely answers will be:
1) Makes sense. Before we invest money, resources, and possibly lives we should make sure the source of the problem (Maliki) is removed so that the root cause of the current crisis can be resolved.
2) It's wrong. Maliki was democratically elected by the Iraqi people. Who are we to insist that he resign?
I suppose a third response, a version of #2, might be:
3) We should strongly suggest that Maliki do something to address the root cause, even if that means resigning, but we can't force him out and we shouldn't make this a required condition of our helping to save thousands of lives.
And maybe I'll be surprised by a 4th or 5th.
