Connie Stevens- She had long, long blonde hair. At one time she was married to Eddie Fisher. I once read somewhere that for a long time, she refused to cut her hair, thinking that it would be a "jinx".

The movie about the tobacco farm was, "Parrish".

Yup!

When I was looking through the IMDB, I learned that Connie Stevens played Kirstie Alley's MOTHER in "Fat Actress". That really freaked me out!

Which radio show had its origins on The Rudy Vallee Show and The Kate Smith Show. (Hint: a situation comedy).

The show began with his mother calling his name. He would respond, "Coming Mother."

It was not The Life of Riley.

"Coming Mother" has to be Henry Aldrich.

"HEEEN-REEE! Henry Aldrich!"

"Coming, Mother!"

Whooee! I've watched the reruns infinitum, but never knew about the theme. My favorite episode involves Bruce Dern, Pat Butram - Dern's a drifter hired to pick fruit.
