Tell us about Ken Curtis' first non-related appearance.
He was a cowboy with a herd on its way to Dodge City. Chester became his good friend, had to watch him die. I don't recall the death as being murder or accident anymore. He was not grizzled like Festus, but pretty clean and dashing to have been on the trail that many weeks.
A detective show that featured Henry Mancini's music, concerns a man with a boat.
This show appeared during the last season of Peter Gunn or thereabouts.
Seahunt? Did that have Mancini music?
Not Seahunt. I believe this show was from the creators of Peter Gunn, trying to use all the same elements that made it popular. I'm trying to recall the star's name, but draw a blank.
The year was 1959. The star was John Vivyan. The boat was a casino.
I cheated and googled. I don't think I ever saw that show. Is it on video?
Well, apparently nobody else is going to guess. It's Mr. Lucky. There was a vinyl LP by Mancini titled MR Lucky. I have never looked for a DVD of it.
Wow, I actually have Mr Lucky on vinyl. I love it.
I once had all the Mancini Mr Lucky and Peter Gunn albums, but my first wife "loaned" half of my collection out.

Ouch, I know that feeling Edgar.
There is something really special about Mancini's music IMO... it just has this certain quality of "coolness" that just gets me.
The music he did then beats Moon River and some of his later stuff, in my estimation.
I hate to admit it, but The Pink Panther era just kills me.
I try and listen to it as just music and not soundtrack.
I should be sick of it, but it's just that good.
Yeah, I like it all, just some better than the rest.
Here's an easy one. Lee Marvin's show was - ?
Hey. You got it on the first try. Congratulations.
Well, you said it was an easy one.
Remember the shows Cricket and Kookie were in? Two different programs.
