Bif Baker solved crimes with a woman partner, perhaps his wife. He wore white suits.

Correction, not crime so much as espionage.

Richard Boone was Dr Konrad Styner on Medic. Sort of a Dragnet medical show in some ways. It was filmed in real hospitals, scripted from real case histories. Some of the actors were real medical people. Each episode they said something like: guardian of birth, healer of the sick, (something else) I heard the theme song, Blue Star over the radio.

All I could think of was his later show, "Hec Ramsay".

edgarblythe- I Googled "Dr. Konrad Styner", and came up with this interesting bit of TV history.

There was another Richard Boone series in between Have Gun and Heck Ramsey, but I can't recall the title. The cast alternated playing the lead roles in unconnected stories from week to week. It only lasted about a season if that long.

edgarblythe- Richard Boone died in 1981, of throat cancer. What I find REALLY scary, is that many of the people on A2K weren't even BORN then.

Damn, does that make me feel OLD! Sad
