Holy geneology, B... (oops, wrong hero)
Didn't Festus have a name for his mule?
George wrote:I believe that was "Sugarfoot".
Yep. That was right. Sorry I didn't get back promptly. I was away on the stage to Yuma to stop a lynchin'.
Festus (Gunsmoke)' mule was named RUTH.
What was Festus' last name? (Or if Festus was his last name, then what was his first name?)
How about the names of:
Pat Butram's Jeep
Sky King's plane
Was the jeep nelly/nellybelle?
Festus Hagan
Wasn't it Pat Brady's jeep, nellybelle?
Sky King - forgot
James Bond's first video appearance was in a one-hour TV dramatization on 1954's Climax Mystery Theater. Who played James Bond, and which Bond novel was being dramatized?
Barry Nelson
Casino Royale
That was fast!
In Nelson's version, James Bond was American and Felix Leiter was British.
I didn't remember the American angle. Trivia's a funny business. Never know what will be needed.
Who was the car's voice in My Mother the Car?
Hint: She starred in two series of her own and was pretty popular in the 50s and early 60s.
Ann Sothern. She was a 1928 Porter
What was the name of the chubby adult (not Jimmy) on the original Mickey Mouse Club?
Roy. I believe it was Disney, but am not certain.
Oh, yeah, I remember him now.
"That's my boy, Roy
Quick on the draw.
He's the fastest drawer
You ever saw."
Yeah, it was "Roy". As far as I remember, he never did anything on the show except appear for the ending song. I don't think it was Roy Disney but I could be wrong. Roy Disney was Walt's older brother and I don't think the club Roy was old enough.
(Incidentally, I'm certain that I spotted mouseketeer leader Jimmy in a supporting role in the John Wayne film "Flying Tigers".)
