Never heard of it. Researching it, I see it began in mid 1950 and lasted ti Sept 1963. Hosts, Mike Stokey and Pat Harrington, Jr. Regulars included Vincent Price, Jackie Coogan, John Barrymore, Jr, Rocky Graziano, Carol Haney, Carol Burnette, Stubby Kaye, and Dick Van Dyke, John Carradine, Tom Poston. Mostly used as a summer fill in show. With Pat Harrington, it was called Stump the Stars.

edgarblythe - I went out west last year. I got so excited when I found myself on the original "Route 66", that I had learned about from that TV program! Damn......Now the theme song is running thru my head. See what you did!

I'll bet you never had a "Tom Mix Whistling Ring". I did! Very Happy

The reason that the kids saved the boxtops is that there was always an offer of some kind of a toy that you could get by sending in boxtops.

I don't believe this. It is a Lone Ranger "Atomic Bomb" Ring, from 1947.
