Great! I just tried to add to the album, but my pictures are large. I'm off for the day, so will try later to figure it out. Have a good one.

Cav, I forgot to tell you I was sorry you couldn't make it this time (I was) and Setanta, too.

I worry blackiechan tried to make it but couldn't find it. If he/she took the address from the link, instead of the directions from Beth's post, he may have been wandering around lost for a good long while.

blackiechan! We really were there, honestly! Sorry you missed us!

There's a batch of pix in the album now.

More to come!

(ossoB - if you come back and look at the pix - take a look at the incense pic - the whole scene in the market made me think of you)

Joeblow, I missed meeting you as well, and missed Setanta, who is funnier and more charming in real life. We shall plan another gathering soon, and yes, let's make it soon, not annual. Wink

When my wife and I visited Toronto last August, we walked through Chinatown. Some of the storefronts in the picture gallery looks familiar. Thanks for posting them.

Great pictures, I'm enjoying them.

New batch of photos on the SF thread, but at this point they're only link, can't get the actual photos into the thread. (more to add, also).

Bethie, the pics were wonderful--I'm anxiously waiting for more.

Chinatown looks like a great place to spend the day and gives Toronto an even greater appeal as a future destination.

We'll get there one of these days. Oh and the canajuns I've seen so far are a mighty fine looking bunch.

hmmmmmm
I think I've got a couple of pix waiting in 'approval limbo'.
I'll wait another day or so - I've got another 10 or so pix to add.

Nina and Prabhu had a good time. Apparently, Prabhu even came to A2K yesterday to take a look around. Very Happy They'd be great additions to the crowd.

Diane - you have to come here and meet JoeBlow. You just have to.

I think I know what you are talking about. Her face says lots about her sense of humor and intelligence.
It will definitely happen.

Your sense of JoeBlow is right on, Diane.
She reminded me very much of you. She's a very thoughtful woman. <nods>

Hahah! Do you see what I see...? Two sweeties reflecting their own natures on to others! Smile

Osso, I was not bored to death and looked at your pics - a few had trouble loading...my computer maybe...I eventually got to most of them.

Anyway... lovely!

speaking of ossobuco, she's a very strange and dignified lady (for a recovering catholic) she neither laughed nor grimiced when I expounded on my theories on life, the universe and everything. she did, however, look askance when I stuck the carrots up my nose at that fancy diner she took us to.

That place is so nutty, the dogs eat carrots . . . the prefer the large ones, sliced and cooked with a little butter, as opposed to the "baby carrots" . . . can i get you dogs anything else?

they weren't personal carrots, they were on the veggie tray, I ate the califlower right off, double-dipping in the little bowl of sauce stuff what had little bits of like blue mold kinda but I ate it anyway 'cause I am that kinda guy. I put the carrots back on the tray all lined up and orderly like, what the hell I wasn't gettin' no laughs anyway.

I was holding the table cloth over my head so no one would realize I was with the weird cowboy.
I've also lost my taste for carrots.

I don't know, maybe Toronto is too dignified for us. We're bound to embarrass all of you.
