Here's the idea - Kensington/Spadina - Saturday afternoon.

I've suggested meeting outside My Market Bakery, in Kensington Market - grabbing a piece of pastry or fruit, walking and talking for 15/20 minutes - then going around the corner to Kim Hoa (on Spadina, north of Dundas) to sit around a big table - maybe share a soup and some inexpensive (but quite good) food. It's usually not too noisy in there, though it's often got some small family and U of T academic groups talking and eating.

Please come here and check in - and come there and meet us!

Very Happy

BoGoWo, cavfancier, wenchilina and I are hoping to meet some more of the tranna/Toronto contingent.

patiodog, I know you are not Canadian, so you are probably unaware that spontaneous curling games are much more popular, and far more dangerous.

Oh, yes, I may have a friend who if possible, may want to join us. He is politically conservative, but actually quite a good and balanced debater, and if he is here in the city, I would love if he and his bride to be (who keeps him in line politically, being a liberal and all, heh heh) could participate in the fun.

The only avid curler I've ever known was also a dentist involved in pain research. Would you say there is a connection?

Wenchi's signed on as staff photographer, so we should actually get some pix.

Now if we can get a few of the more recent members to join in ...

As opposed to Othello and Iago, which would be "the moor and the unmarryer."
