Sen. John McCain continued his criticism of the White House's handling of the Sept. 11 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, calling for a select committee to investigate what he called the Obama administration's "cover-up."

Where was he when GW Bush lied about WMD's in Iraq that eventually killed over 4,000 of our men and women in an illegal war?

Is he trying to make four dead Americans more important than the 4,000?
When did he demand an investigation on the Iraq War?

More money to waste on an issue by a "select committee" that's not as material as the Iraq War.

When people volunteer into working for the State Department, they know before hand that there is danger in foreign assignments. It's not too dissimilar to volunteering into the armed services. They must take responsibility for their own choice to work in the State Department - as does those who volunteer into the armed services. They also get "danger pay."

He's senile.

@cicerone imposter,
McCain is calling it a "scandal." He's a scandal for pursuing this issue like it's the last important issue of our times.

He's f.... senile.

@cicerone imposter,
Yes he is. But the sad thing is that the public is so unaware of it that it has to be pointed out to them.

LOL! The mercurial John McCain's is afraid he's becoming irrelevant. There is no other senator who has appeared on so many talk shows. I agree it's a strong possibility John McCain is suffering from pre-senile dementia and that he remains a trigger-happy hawk. I recall when he was all gung-ho going after Ambassador Rice while at the same time meetings were being held to answer many of his questions that he was asking publicly. A reporter asked him why he had not attended the meeting regarding Rice and he angrily said "I'm a godamn US senator and don't like being accused"....he later apologized somewhat for yelling at the reporter. McCain's insecurities are on display.

@neologist,
I think you're right about his/our age, but he's making himself into a nobody by pushing bull **** that does nothing for our country.

His downhill began when he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. A dumb **** woman with a big mouth and no brains to boot!

Look at all the conservatives who adore her!

Sarah Palin is the nation’s consummate narcissist-partisan who was facing a barrage of ethic violations when she resigned as governor of Alaska. Palin is a bitchy, spiteful woman. We have seen how she tries to appeal to the worse visceral emotion in human nature to achieve her goal. When she first joined McCain's presidential campaign, it was refreshing....adding a little spice....giving the senator a boost whereas normally, prior to Palin, the crowds attending his campaigns rallys were scarce. Later on, Sarah hurt any chance John McCain had.

@Moment-in-Time,
That Palin can still draw the crowds to her "speeches" is a mystery of our times.

@cicerone imposter,
From dmn news.
Quote:
I cannot understand the attraction of Sarah Palin but she sure gets the attention. Palin attended an NBA game in Phoenix on Friday night but instead of donning purple and orange to support the home team, she sported a T-shirt in support of Chick-fil-A. The Republican had spoken out in support of the fast food chain last year when the company publicly expressed support for groups opposed to same-sex marriage. Looking tanned and toned, the snow bird is spending time at her home in Scottsdale while she waits out the bitterly cold winter up in her native state.

The Tea Party loves Palin, arguably because her ‘red-meat’ speeches fire up the conservative base. It’s also a given that a considerable number of men think she is ‘hot.’ The left loves to make fun of the former Alaska Governor who quit her job while in office and once quipped that she could ‘see Russia from her front porch.’ Palin was spotted wearing fashionable jeans, a silver studded black western belt and red T-shirt at the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix, where the Suns faced off against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Suns lost to Minnesota 117 – 86. The 49-year-old was seen in the Valley of the Sun this week after her appearance at CPAC on March 16 in Maryland, where she delivered a rousing speech slamming President Obama and calling on the GOP to return to their roots.

Men think with their groin; brainless. They belong in the same league as Palin and the Tea Party.

On the contrary, it's an open secret. Palin's speeches appeal to the venom-filled crowd who need someone to feed their hatred against Obama, Gays, minorities, global warming, his refusal to start a new war, etc. There is a significant minority of discontented people in America who simply cannot get use to having an African-American as president and this is eating at their inner core....they hate the change they see around them, a Latino minority that will soon surpass the white majority. Palin make these insecure Americans feel good about harboring evil feelings for seeing a black man in the most important position on earth.
