@XXSpadeMasterXX,
yes, that is what I would do ,...limit it to SP, or OF players. then limit to top 25.

Yeah - if I were smarter tech wise I'd try to figure out some other way of ordering them on my own, outside of yahoo, being able to move up and down more that from, say, # 183 to the top #1 or the bottom #463... perhaps by ten or 20 at a time, then going to the individual clicks.

I think you can Osso, and I am sorry I forgot to mention that...If you click, and just hold the click, like you are going to copy and paste something, and scroll up or down...you can select multiple guys at once to move up, down, or remove...Once you highlighted them all, you can click to move up, down, or remove them all...

(So lets say I have selected 20 multiple guys to pre-rank, if I click up once, that group of 20 will all move up one spot, or down, or I can remove them all...So if I wanted to make #183 my number 1 pick to grab him...I can multiple select 1-182, and drag them all into remove, put 183 at the top, and them import them all again...and you can do the same to put #1 at 483, or you can highlight that one guy, and just click remove)

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Is that true for Mac users? Osso is Mac user.

@Ragman,
I am not sure mate...She would have to look up how Yahoo would explain that for MAC users...or she would have to go into "grab another team" Set it up...pre-rank the players to see if it works the same, then she could delete the team, so she does not have to draft or participate...

My guess is that it would work...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
That's not what I'm talking about though, I understand the rankings - and do know how to skip from top to bottom with the My Players list. Just not ten at a time.

I think next time I'll try to put it on what in a mac is My Pages, and cut and paste there to my hearts content, and then on the last day, enter the names in the yahoo My Players list, probably using the alphabetical yahoo player ranking to find the name to move to My Players in my own order.

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
I tried that.

The second paragraph sounds worse - if I could do it - than just clicking, as I am putting at one point something like 300 players in order (before I do the last cull) and my order varies greatly from theirs.

I am not sure if I am confused, or if you did not see my post, 2 posts ago?

I think if you multiple select guys, as in 10, 20, 50...etc at a time by highlighting them like to copy and paste something...you can move them up, down or remove...

But I am not sure if it works with a Mac...

Yes, it was not very clear...I am sorry...if you highlight, 1-182, and click "move down" once...#183 should now be # 1, and the rest all right behind...So you can do chunks at a time? Move 10 up, then 7 down...remove 2 or 3...etc...

I got you though, no real way to categorizes players to move guys in chunks up or down...

I agree, it is a bit time consuming...

@fbaezer,

Hey, nice new av, Osso! Smile

PS Yeah the trade ordering is ... less than optimal. For one thing, they could add some means of just grabbing one team's players and seeing them at a glance, and they don't.

@jespah,
They do have this feature called an auction draft...I never liked it, and it takes a very long time...Each team will have a set amount...say 100 million bux to spend...And when the draft is happening, every team bids on every single player, so every team has a shot at every player, no matter where they are in the draft order...And you can spend as much, or little as you would like...

But once you spend your 100 million you can only get players from trades, or free agents...And you get nothing for saving money in the draft...and another bad thing is if someone brings out a sleeper, a few teams will probably be interested, and now that one team can not just simply grab that player...

I did a couple of drafts where it was one whole team you got...It was pretty fun to do...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
I saw it, tried it early on, can't do that.

And no, at least on this mac, I cannot highlight 1-182, or even 1-2.
I can do it with their rankings (middle row of the page), but not on the My Players list. I use their rankings/alphabeticals in the middle row as my keep-as-possibles list.

Which is why I'm talking about making my first list culled from the yahoo ranks on a mac Page and doing all the cut and pasting there.

@ossobuco,
I have to take your word, because I would have to see it to visualize it...I think I am getting confused... Confused Laughing

So you are saying you tried to copy them into groups of 1o, 20 etc..., but could not cut and move them to your My players list? Or remove them?

I agree and think that what you are saying is your best option...Wink Very Happy

@Ticomaya,
Not sure mate...I am looking for a closer right now...It could be anyone you would want to trade...I know how closers get bumped up a bit...What player would you think is a fair trade?

I will tell you who I would like to give...Are you looking for SP or a positioned player?

@Ticomaya,
OK...for a closer...I am willing to deal McCarthy, Sanchez, or Parker...

And I may deal 2 of them if you are interested...but I would have to see if I think League is going to close or if Jansen is going to remain the closer still...

I will do anyone of those 3 for Soriano, Putz or Reed straight up...I may even do a combination of those 3...

If it is League you want to trade...Since I am not sure if he is closing, or is the set-up guy...I will deal McCarthy, or Sanchez...but we can work out a deal if you want Parker...

Now what do you think mate?
