I'll miss the live draft, because I'll be coaching soccer, unfortunately.

I will make an effort to be there.

I'm not sure I can even watch since I don't have adobe flash.
I'm trusting they'll use my My Players list even if I can't check in while the draft is going on.
Not that My Players are uniformly marvelous choices.

The draft took one hour.

Well, it turned out they did use my list even though I couldn't watch.. Good then. I'm not unhappy with how it went, so far anyway.
And, the good part is that I missed the anxiety of not getting who I wanted as it happened.

Cool ... 3rd pick. Wonder who I got! Off to go check ...

I think my picks came from my mock draft. However I don't know if what it picked were today's final selections or my original ones from 2 days ago. I ended up getting 8th pick. I'm just happy that I got something submitted.

I think my picks for overall look reasonable. For shits and giggles I also entered on Yahoo Sports another bunch of picks. Those picks are awaiting assignment to another league. We'll see how those go. I tailored those picks a bit more than I did here.

I think I couldn't import it (list #2) here (I guess) 'cause it was too late in the process of the draft.

Well, I got some players I wanted, and didn't get some players I wanted.

I wanted Martin Prado, the new D-Back, but not nearly as much as Jespah, who prizes swiss army knives even more than I do. Position eligibility flexibility isn't as valuable in a shallow league.

I never got around to pre-ranking my players. I was live at the draft. I ended up with at least one player in each position which was an accomplishment, I guess. I have no idea whether my squad is any good. I've invited them over for a picnic. I'll check them out then.
I, wisely I think, steered clear of the pitcher named "Homer." An unfortunate name.

I have 4 closers. That probably wouldn't have been my strategy if I was live drafting.

Anyone in the market for a closer?

If any of you nine would like to give the rest of us updates on how the league is going, I'd really appreciate it. If you do, your mini league will probably be more entertaining than the Red Sox, who, out of all the AL East teams, were picked by the fewest fans on CBSSports.com to win the division this year.

Sure, a lot of us like to talk on the a2k thread as well as in the Yahoo format.

We're likely to do most of the talking here rather then on Yahoo. The type is too small there for my eyes.
