Kerry has spent much more time attacking members of the US military
than he spent in Vietnam. Kerry is a worthless pile of human excrement

One then wonder what names we should call Bush 2 for getting us into an unneeded war that cost the lives of thousands of our soldiers and who never hear one bullet flying by his ears in his life?.

Kerry hasn't earned any respect from others that served,

BULLSHIT....
Everyone that actually served with Kerry on those boat trips had respect for him. His commanding officers had respect for him. Those serving under him had respect for him. Who exactly are you referring to Spurt when you say others that served didn't have respect for him?

the Swift Boat claims are no more true now than they were in 2004, when Republicans like like Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) immediately came to Kerry’s defense and slammed Swift Boat’s ad:
McCAIN: Individuals served on the boat (Kerry) commanded. Many of his crewmates have testified to his courage under fire. I think John Kerry served honorably in Vietnam.

@BillRM,
Is the same John Kerry that said it was "burned into his brain" being in Cambodia, even though it was proven that neither he nor his unit was anywhere near there at the time he claimed to be?

LOL you did not read the article I had already posted on this thread where his boat were indeed station right at the border of Cambodia for a time and there is an open question to this day what side of the border his patrol boat happen to had been on.

They did no have GPS in the 1960s............so it he was under the believes he was indeed in Cambodia no one can state one way or another if he was in error.

It come under the term the fog of war.

One chapter of SBVT's Unfit for Command questioned Kerry's statements that he was in Cambodia during the war. Kerry did not claim to have been sent on a covert mission to Cambodia on Christmas Eve, 1968. Rather, he believed at the time he had crossed the border while on a patrol near the border, during which the boats were ambushed and later came under friendly fire from South Vietnamese soldiers.[48][68] None of Kerry's crewmates confirmed being sent to Cambodia. One of Kerry's crewmen, SBVT member Steven Gardner,[69] asserted that it was physically impossible to cross the Cambodian border, as it was blocked and patrolled by PBRs (a type of patrol boat);[70] however, Kerry's boat was evidently patrolling with PBRs during the mission in question.[71] Some crewmembers have, moreover, stated that they may at some point have entered Cambodia without knowing it. James Wasser, who was on PCF-44 on that December mission, while saying that he believed they were "very, very close" to Cambodia, did not recall actually crossing over; he also stated that it was very hard to tell their exact position in the border area. Kerry's own journal entry on this, written the night of the mission, does not specifically say they entered Cambodia. However, it does state that PCF-44 was somewhere "toward Cambodia" to provide cover for two smaller patrol boats, and in sarcasm, that he considered messaging Christmas greetings to his commanders "from the most inland Market Time unit" and that a court martial for the incident "would make sense"[71] In addition, George Elliott noted in Kerry's fitness report that he had been in an ambush during the 24 hour Christmas truce, which began on Christmas Eve.[72]

We have back ground checks, we have blocks on the mentally ill getting guns, we have laws against minors with guns, straw purchases, robbery and murder, we have states and schools where guns are banned and yet they are shot to pieces, and we have millions of gun owners who have never and will never harm anyone. Does it ever occur to you gun ban supporters that you and your laws are like a dog chasing it's tail.....going nowhere and accomplishing nothing??? Uh, guess what, the one place that has the lowest crime favors guns the most: Israel. How do you explain that and the fact that your bans have failed to save kids in schools from being shot as they cowered in a corner? You gun ban freaks never answer those questions.

I'll answer it. The shooters would be criminals here for having guns.

@genefog2,
Let's adopt Israeli laws on guns then genefog..

Quote:
It is forbidden in Israel to own any kind of firearm, including air pistols and rifles, without a firearms license.

OMG.. Israel registers all guns and will take them away because that is what registration leads to it seems.

Love it that when we have a combat vet and then a gentleman who manner to sit out a war in Texas and the combat vet get attacked concerning such matters as what side of a border he happen to had been on or if a piece of metal in his body was big enough or not to deserve a medal.

The far right GOP supporters clearly have no shame of any kind.

What is your point, H2O.

Both of those comments make a hell of a lot more sense than almost any of the stuff you post.
