Yes that have been hard to fake up but believe what you care to believe the FBI and the ATF had a history of acting in an outrageous manner such as at Ruby Ridge during that period of time and being careless with tear gas containers and then lying about it is a minor sin compared to killing a young boy and his dog or an unarmed woman holding her new born in her arms.

Even the posting you had given above does not in fact support the story the FBI came up with to protected it rear ends and you can buy into such very self serving nonsense it wish to. The FBI agents needed to try to explain away the evidence away concerning tear gas containers that show they had been lying.

Congress and the indpendent investigation had no reason to explain away evidence.

Self-immolation has been characteristic of religious fanatics literally for centuries,

For as long and more common is setting fires to deal with getting people out in the open had been part of law enforcement tool box.

Let see beside the S.LA. some very famous examples are the Philadelphia police dropping a bomb from a helicopter and setting a few blocks of row homes on fire and of course getting Booth out of a tobacco shed by setting it on fire.

So weighing what we know the likelihood of the FBI either by being careless or by design setting off the fire seem one hell more likely then self-immolation.

Timothy McVeigh did not kill one person with a gun.

Is this the woman who was behind a door during a stand off with Federal officers?

As you already mentioned, the boy fired on the agents who returned fire.

I never said he did.
It seems you have problems with seeing things as they really are.

It's really sad that a thread that started over a school shooting where 20 very innocent children were killed has degraded into each side threatening to shoot at each other.

They are gone Frank. Some of us are dedicated to preventing such a thing happening again.

Of course the government as a whole have an interest in protecting the good name of the chief law enforcement agency of the US and for that matter the US attorney general who OK this attack.

@BillRM,
Booth wasn't hunted down by law enforcement agents--just ordinary grunt soldiers. The behavior of the Philadelphia police was certainly vicious and barbaric, but there is no good reason to assume that they intended to start a fire--the fire started when incendiaries Africa had already stored in the house ignited. The term you wanted was row, you semi-literate chimp.

You obviously didn't examine the evidence--your mind (or what passes for a ind in your cranium) is made up, so you're doing the rhetorical equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and chanting: "La-la-la-la, i can't hear you."

The boy have fire coming out of the woods that had already killed his dog so of course anyone in the world would drop to the ground and return fired under such a situation and the woman was not behind a door and snipers do not shot blind into doors and if they did that would in itself be a criminal act.

The Congress was controlled by Republicans from 1995 onward. The Danforth commission was set up in 1999. Chimp.

Horiuchi fired a second bullet, blowing off half of Vicki Weaver's face and killing her,[51] and wounded Harris in the chest. Vicki Weaver was standing behind the door through which Harris was entering the house, holding their 10-month-old baby Elisheba[50] in her arms.

You can't get any of the facts right is seems.

Tell that to the few hundred home owners that were burned out of their homes in the city of Brotherly love due to police dropping a bomb or the innocent people that was killed by police gun fire when crossing a bridge in New Orleans after the hurricane and so on.

@BillRM,
The acts of a few demonizes the whole?

That's an interesting take on it Bill.
More people die from civilians having guns than die at the hands of government officials. You sure you want to keep that stance?

@parados,
Firing blind into a home is a criminal act in and by itself and if could have been the infant instant of the mother.

Seems the FBI should be the ones who guns are taken away.

Second the government settle civil lawsuits over their actions.

U.S. Settles Final Civil Lawsuit Stemming From Ruby Ridge Siege

The federal government paid $380,000 today to Kevin Harris, who contended that his rights were violated when an F.B.I. sniper wounded him during the 1992 siege at Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

In paying Mr. Harris to drop a $10 million lawsuit, the government did not admit any liability.

The settlement with the Justice Department ended the last civil suit arising from the 11-day standoff in 1992 at the Idaho compound of Randall C. Weaver, a white separatist.

In 1995, the government paid Mr. Weaver and his three surviving children $3.1 million in the killing of his wife, Vicki, and 14-year-old son, Samuel.

Earlier this year, a federal appeals court upheld a lower court ruling that dismissed state criminal charges against Lon Horiuchi, an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The same shot by Mr. Horiuchi, a member of the bureau's hostage rescue team, killed Vicki Weaver and wounded Mr. Harris, a friend of the Weavers.

At the time he was firing at a suspect that was fleeing.

I guess, that confirms you were wrong about how Vicki died. She was shot through the door.
