Yeah, the two of us seem to be commies and all that ...

But I didn't suggest that. Instead I merely observed that by the undefined standards of a silly little multiple choice tes, using questions that, in most cases, forced the respondent to make illogical yes/no choices, I came out as more moderate than either you or Msolga.

I remember doing this test before (a long time ago). But it looks like I ended up in almost exactly the same place I did before (right next to that dickhead Gandhi again) Smile

I made this other test, "Where do you fit on the American Election?".

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/2012/08/where-do-you-fit-introducing-the-pewnewshour-political-party-quiz.html

I know I don't vote, but it was fun anyway.

I'd be a "moderate democrat" on economic issues, and a "liberal democrat" on social issues. I think I agree.

@McGentrix,

I'm to the left of Liberal Democrats on average. I almost fall off the scale on the left on social issues.

I found this one more difficult because I either cared a lot or didn't care at all about the issues - but a forced pick ended up pushing me much further left than I think I truly am (on social issues) - either that or I'm morphing into Bogowo (the first anarchist libertarian I'd ever heard of or met).

@JPB,
See, we agree on liking cheese too.

I was just whining in my way, as you know. Meantime, it would be cool if someone worked out a better worded political compass thingy.

I was too crabby to save my results, except that I verbalized my position in the southwest quadrant (ooooh, and I live in NM..).

I'll take it again and see if I can nab a photo.

I was practically on top of Jessica Stein or whoever she is. Eek. Someone save me!

I didn't have any 'strong' feelings on any of the answers, though...i.e., didn't 'strongly agree/disagree' on any of 'em.

@fbaezer,
Even though I'm not from the US, I did that quiz, too, fbaezer.
Can't resist a quiz!

And discovered that I'm a "liberal democrat" on both economic & social issues. No surprises there.

But the thing that surprised me about the questions: there is no mention of attitudes about foreign policy at all.
So I'm wondering, is foreign policy not considered an important issue in this election campaign?
It is hugely important to foreigners! Wink
