Yeah, I had the same thought but I don't think the wording influenced me much between "very" and agree/disagree on the same side of the response.

edit: actually, I think I was so sensitive to it that it all averaged out in the end to be just about right.

It seems I end up in the middle of just about every test I do - even if I threw in plenty of 'strongly agree/disagree's, along with things I didn't care much about.

So how come so many seem to be bottom left? I can only think 'you are all like Ghandi' (cause his dot was down that way)

I think you'll find agreement from most of the watchers from outside the U.S. that the entire U.S. has shifted right.

I can't copy the graph, but here are my results...

Economic Left/Right: -1.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.64

That puts me close to Francois Hollande on the scale.
However, since there was no option to be neutral on a question, I suspect the results aren't entirely accurate.

I'm in the left south quadrant, four up from the bottom, 5 1/2 from the left (taking it from the bottom).
