@ehBeth,
I would love to see where the other presidents map out on this diagram.

Economic Left/Right: -7.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.36

and some of the wording makes me wonder about the folks asking the questions...

@boomerang,
That looks familiar, in my memory of how I turned out.

Yeah, I had the same thought but I don't think the wording influenced me much between "very" and agree/disagree on the same side of the response.

edit: actually, I think I was so sensitive to it that it all averaged out in the end to be just about right.

@JPB,

It seems I end up in the middle of just about every test I do - even if I threw in plenty of 'strongly agree/disagree's, along with things I didn't care much about.

So how come so many seem to be bottom left? I can only think 'you are all like Ghandi' (cause his dot was down that way)

@vikorr,
That's about where I used to see myself. I seem to have shifted left over the years.

@JPB,
Actually, I think I'm the same as I always was and the grid shifted right. Very Happy

@JPB,
I think you'll find agreement from most of the watchers from outside the U.S. that the entire U.S. has shifted right.

@JPB,
I can't copy the graph, but here are my results...

Economic Left/Right: -1.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.64

That puts me close to Francois Hollande on the scale.
However, since there was no option to be neutral on a question, I suspect the results aren't entirely accurate.

They really did need a "neutral".....

@mysteryman,
There were a couple questions that I didn't really agree with or disagree. I picked the one that I leaned closest to. I think that's intentional.

So I copied your answers, what of it?

All those not in my quadrant will be exterminated.

I'm about to take the test but I must ask, is all getting cheezier?

The entry to the test for a new person is tackyville.

Ok, I'll be quiet or they'll be out to get me.

Well, ****, I don't like the first question, too simple.

Oh, look, look, look -

@ossobuco,
I don't have the patience to deal with this.

I'm in the left south quadrant, four up from the bottom, 5 1/2 from the left (taking it from the bottom).

Creepy survey. Proto obnoxious and missing any possible nuances.
