Are you left, right, or center?

@JPB,
No big change since the last time I took the quizz a few years ago. I used to be just right of the middle line between "economically left" and "economically right". Now I'm just to the left of it. Somewhat surprisingly, this confirms the result of a remotely relate quizz Occom Bill posted on Facebook, which told me I should be voting for Jill Stein. I'm still getting used to being a Leftie. (Incidentally, JPB, you should vote for Stein, too. You're even closer to her than I am, and much closer to her than to Gary Johnson.)

@Thomas,
I'm super close to jpb, but got multi thumbed down, I take it because I called this whole thing cheesy.

Let that be a warning to her.

I think that's almost the right idea, but not quite. In my opinion, the problem is that the Washington press corps tends to portray politics as if the middle point between Obama and Romney was the center of the coordinate system. I don't think that's true. I suspect the political class, Republican and Democratic, is now a good deal more authoritarian and economically conservative than the average American voter is --- and that that's what you see in this plot.

@snood,
“No persons are more frequently wrong, than those who will not admit they are wrong.”

Again, that Snood, of all people, should pick such a quote - glaring hypocrisy!

It boggles the mind.

Or at least more than the average A2K user is. I wonder what an Oralloy, Gungasnake or cjhsa (remember him?) would get on this test. I think even that cohort of conservative apologists would be left of Obama, and much more libertarian. Kind of spooky really.

Dunno - but they thumbed down olgs too. I can't help but thumb up a post when I see someone has thumbed it down for no reason.

Someone who's sneakily done the test & is too chicken to post the results? Wink

I am a typical Libran. Sometimes I go left, sometimes I go right. End up in being the Center (on an average basis)
