@Equestrianforlife7xo,
You need protein, not processed carbs.

Are there apples in the house? or other simple fruits?

If you don't want an egg or a piece of fruit instead of processed carbs, you're not really hungry.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
You not only need to lose weight but you have to improve your levels of fitness. That means you need to change the types of foods you're eating. Good quality, unprocessed food will help you reach your goals.

If you're serious about riding, you need to really work on the health and fitness side of things - not just the number of calories/carbs you're taking in.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
The next time you're considering some cereal, either eat some unprocessed protein or a piece of fruit.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
Your other thread indicates some difficulties with impulse control.

You might want to talk to your family doctor about all of this.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
Eating processed foods will be a problem for you, regardless of the number of calories/carbs etc.

Stay away from processed foods if you are serious about weight control and your health.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
What people DO understand is that, despite the app, you are apparently not losing weight.

Therefore you need to do something different.

People are suggesting different things to do but you refuse to consider any of them.

I'd say you'll not be losing any weight any time soon, not until you are ready to make some changes.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
Use a different bread - whole wheat would be best, but if you don't like the taste of it, potato bread is good too. Instead of mayonnaise, use either butter or try tomato paste (it's rather good) and along with your turkey, add some slices of cheese too. Prepare a salad to go along with your sandwich and you have a healthy lunch.

If your parents don't allow you to touch the oven then use oatmeal for breakfast. You can heat it in the microwave with either water or milk.
Add some raspberries or blueberries to it and you have a great breakfast
and you won't get hungry right away again.

Don't forget to snack after 2 to 2.5 hours though.....that's important, as
it keeps your metabolism busy and you won't get too hungry for your next meal.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
I do understand the diet app. It's fine to use it, but I can tell you when I was your age (36 years ago) I was 5'6'' and never weighed more than 125lbs. I left for college weighing 118 lbs. I could easily wear a bikini, but it didn't come easy. I ate about 1800 (healthy) calories a day and rarely more than 60 carbs with most of it coming from non-starchy vegetables, low sugar fruit like apples or grains like kasha. I know this because I kept a weight diary since I was 13. I also walked 4 miles to school in the morning with a girlfriend and only took the bus in the afternoon or if the weather was miserable. I did a lot of biking, skating and hiking on weekends. Very limited TV, my parents thought it was a waste of time- and of course, the internet was not yet invented.

ehBeth is correct about exploring impulsive or emotional eating. It can sabotage any eating plan. The reality is you have to eat right for life or you will end up putting all the weight back on and more.

@Equestrianforlife7xo,
You are not exercising enough.

You are not able to control your impulsive eating.

You apparently plan to continue eating processed foods.

Good luck to you.
