@farmerman,
I am only waiting for him to kill the Bush tax cut to the rich. Then I will actively campaign for him.

@edgarblythe,
I think the Bush cuts die in Jan 1 2013 UNLESS Congress reinstates them as a shot at Obama uring the campaign.
IF HE DOES NOTHING (I believe) they die, but after the election.

When Ted Kennedy died, I thought all our hopes of ever seeing any change in our healthcare system went with him.

I'm a happy little lamb today, but I just want to say one thing....Nobody vote for Romney!

@edgarblythe,
I'll tell you the easy way to get it done.

1) re-elect Obama
2) Make sure that all 32 US Representatives from Texas are Democrats.

I can guarantee you that if that happens, the Bush Cuts will die.

We have a chance to win all 435 seats if we get off of our seats.

I'd hate to hear the hard way!

@Eva,
All 435 seats are open.
If Democrats get off their ass, get people registered, get people to the polls to vote Straight Blue, we can gain in the US Senate and regain the House.

From now until November, anyone who merely gripes get called out for sitting out.

Agreed. I went ahead and made a sizable donation to Obama and signed up to do phone banking this weekend.

I am happy the Supremes did not overturn Obama care. Even if I were slightly against it I would not like those judges to take it on themselves to negate a lawful function of lawmakers. My only reservation is, it does not go far enough, not enough like the Canada model.

I wrote the above earlier today. I have about decided I have to get on board with Obama, because he is better than having a Republican in office. But, beginning in January -

I just think we'll have a much better chance of seeing the goals we want forwarded, actually being forwarded, under Obama in a second term than under Romney.
