odd, mozzerella makes my very subtle lactose intolerance flare up more than anything else besides cow milk. So, you get it with chocolate and not with Mozz? Are you sure it's lactose intolerance?

it is funny about the mozz but hard cheeses are less inclined to make a lactose intolerance reaction. Some people have an easier time with certain things. Like chocolate. God chocolate kills me. I can have some cheese though. I think it's the process used.
