I start on Monday.
Wish me luck!
@chai2,
Congratulations! That is always exciting news!
Have you asked for a day off yet? I bet the boss will give you a bonus if you mention it.
@chai2,
you're not gonna be giving out free samples of goat yogurt, are you?
because most folks still remember that one guy who was doing that one thing, and I doubt many will want to try yours, but who knows...
best of luck.

Good luck, chai!
And congratulations, too.
What type of job?
Tell us more!
@chai2,
Way to go! Congrats and good luck on a new beginning.
@chai2,
WOW, there's a new sheriff in town! Congrats on that new job!
Thanks all.
For those who have been unable to keep up with the exciting life of Chai, I left my last place of employment back in October 2011, after being there 13 years.
I'd been want to make a change for the last couple of years before leaving, but was waiting until Wally was able to qualify for Medicare, so I wouldn't have to worry about insurance for him.
From the experience I had talking to other job seekers, I was always aware it would take me about 6 months at least to land another good position, maybe up to 9 months or a year.
Wouldn't you know, it's been just shy of 6 months, so I'm on the positive side of the schedule.
I'm not going to talk too much about the job right now, as I want to take time to make sure we're a good fit for each other (I'm sure we are), and become at home in my position.
However, it's a great business and opportunity for me. I'm very excited.
Congratulations and good luck.
Great news, chai.
Good luck!
