Sorry not true as I know of no state that once a teenager under 18 is married he or she does not have the same rights and obligations as any adult.

In most states a girl/woman who had have a child is also consider an adult in many cases and is not under her parents controls.

And the courts had always been free to hear and grant petitions of emancipation to minors.

In my State, NY, the age of consent for sexuality is 17.

As a libertarian, it seems to me that if a 17 year old wishes
to photograph herself and to personally profit by selling pictures
of herself doing anything that is perfectly legal,
then she has the moral right to do so without government interference.

I was in attendance at the 1OOth Birthday Party of my friend,
Donald's father. He had many guests in attendance:
his descendants, among whom was an 8 year old boy, his great-grandson,
named Cy, to whom in a spirit of hedonism, I unexpectedly presented a $2O bill.
His mother n other relatives were very happy for him; made a fuss.
He looked a little stunned. I was thinking that he looked quite little
and I recalled your comment qua seeming crazy for me to have been
armed with a .38 revolver, when I was that age.

In response, I can only say that no trouble resulted
and that my nabors were better armed than I was.

Chicken Little and Ygor are going on about 17 year olds because that's their starting point. If the age limit for participating in pornographic films were lowed to 17 they would start going on about 16 year olds, then 15 year olds, and so on, until they reach the age they deem acceptable to abuse children. I was about to respond with a quick, YES, but I must pause.
Firstly, minors can freely contract; no problem for the minors.
Those contracts are fully valid, but "voidable" in many instances,
if desired by the minor (not so qua the purchase of "necessaries"
e.g.: food, maybe subway rides, etc).

I pause because of the possible effects of the federal and the NY
anti-pornografy laws themselves. It may very well BE, and it probably IS,
that a person of any age is prohibited from selling or giving away the censored material.
My answer to your questions is: YES, EXCEPT for the anti-pornografy laws themselves.
In other words, if no human beings were shown in those pictures,
then she coud freely sell them or give them away, if she owns them.

I have not spent much time researching either of those statutes,
tho I did read the federal statute (not recently). I 'm pretty sure
that I did not find an exception for people below any age
being immune from the criminal effects of the statute.

Accordingly, if a couple of 16 year olds made love while photografing
themselves (maybe in front of a computer camera),
or if thay were not deemed to be wearing sufficient clothing,
thay might well be open to criminal prosecution
with draconian results.

We have at least 2 schizophrenics who have openly

The third means of becoming an emancipated minor is to enlist in any of the United States Armed Forces. That, they think they won't get sex unless they send nude photos of themselves, I don't think so, they have hormones, but in most cases, it will always be the boy that sets the wheel in motion.
