@JGoldman10,
I was just hoping to avoid children chanting,
'Tuffy said to Bull, 'Let's get hold of Tuck,
Take him up the alley and give his arse a ...''
But if that's what you want, fair enough.

Of course Robin Hood's real, but he was a bloody Yorkshireman, Ee Bah Gum, and it was during the reign of Edward II, not John.

American kids don't say "ar**."

My characters are not gay.

@izzythepush,
Your logic is impecable. I guess people should avoid any cartoons with the word "duck" in the title, or anything that rhymes with "duck" - Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Huckleberry Hound, Duck Dodgers, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, etc.

From
http://www.rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=duck&typeofrhyme=perfect&org1=syl&org2=l&org3=y :

Words that rhyme with "duck" -bruck, buc, buck, chuck, cluck, druck, duc, duk, fluck, gluck, guck, huck, hucke, kluck, kruck, kruk, kuc, kuck, kuk, luck, lucke, luk, mruk, muck, pluck, puck, ruck, schmuck, schuch, schuck, shuck, smuck, snuck, struck, stuck, stucke, suc, suck, suk, truck, tuck, wnuk, wruck, yuck, yuk, zuck, zuk

Your drawings are some of the gayest stuff I've ever seen.

@izzythepush,
My mother asked me, why do my characters look so aggressive and mean? She had a point - they shouldn't look like that when they aren't fighting. If they look like that all the time something is wrong. I was making them look pleasant and happy.

I am targeting them to kids.

Tough guys don't look mean and aggressive all the time. Even people like Bruce Lee smiled:

@JGoldman10,
I didn't mock or insult them, I just said they looked gay, or more accurately kitsch. If you made them into porcelain figurines and pictures they would not look at all out of place in a fabulous kitchenette.

@izzythepush,
My characters are throwbacks to old Hollywood cartoons, and old '80s and '90s TV cartoons.

@izzythepush,
You are still insulting them.

Popeye was an archetypal cartoon tough guy. Do you think Popeye is gay?:

That is the Paramount Pictures version on the left and the Fleischer version on the right.

@JGoldman10,
All you want do here is post endless threads about comics. It's all a moot point and you seek people out to feed you're obsession with doing nothing productive about getting your comics published. You must be a real frustration to yourself as well as your mother.

@JGoldman10,
And clearly you're not doing anything that will ever be published. You just want to obsess and talk about it ENDLESSLY.

I've not said anything about the gayness of your characters. That was someone else..but you have no idea who said what because you lash out at anyone. I did write in reply to Izzy...about some of what I saw that was kitsch. That has nothing to do with gay..at all. Perhaps you can use a dictionary.

You can't seem to understand your own problem. You're obsessed with talking about the trivialities of this subject. In another 5 minutes you'll create another thread asking advice about some triviality but still not do one productive task towards publishing a thing.

How are those online courses going Use Lulu yet? Have you used Quark or any of those programs or apps that you asked about 2 weeks ago?

I didn't think so. FAKER!
