Most probably a Corvette roadster 1957, by James Cleworth.

Many many decades ago, my friend let me drive his Corvette. I had it parked at my apartment in Sacramento, and it was stolen.

I'm sure you've never been to Sacramento. I was born and reared there, but have lived most of my adult life elsewhere including Chicago, Morocco, Berkeley and Oakland. Now live in Silicon Valley.

My brother has one of his ophthalmology office there. My sister lives in Elk Grove.
My older brother got his law degree from UOP.
