Yep Rob - sucks and many seem to have fallen into his trap. I thought Kathy might really loose her grip for awhile. Also think they will go after Rupert very soon.

Yeah, Lex certainly made a mistake with giving into the perceived power of Boston Rob and allowing him more.
I thought it a bad idea for Rupert to take the two girls with him--anyone else find that a bad strategy? Yeah, hes certainly on the list for being one of the next candidates. Puts him in a bad position since he can do well on challenges but, the more he wins to keep himself safe the more of a threat he becomes.

Rob claims to be playing the game "all" the time. LOL--that wasn't so when he was crying last episode to the camara and asking that Lex save his "girl". He can't be faithful. Amber is stupid. Move on. Get rid of him you will have a better chance without that loser.

I saw Lex in an interview the morning after he was booted. He said that Rob explained it had nothing to do with friendship, but he was playing the game. Rob also explained that he did not say he would not vote against Lex, but that he would "do what he could" for Lex. In this case, Rob felt he couldn't do anything for Lex. Lex then said he did not think he could be a friend with Rob after what Rob did. And that the survivor is more than just trying to win the game, but you need to consider loyalties and friendships. I can understand that, but isn't that a little like calling the kettle black? Didn't Lex do a similar thing to Rob? Granted Lex is much more likeable than Rob, but I fail to see how Lex should expect Ethan to remain a friend to him, but he should not remain a friend to Rob.

I read in an interview with Lex that was posted on Survivorfever that Lex and Rob are no longer friends. Of course, this is easy for me to say b/c I like Lex and don't like Rob but I think what Lex did to Ethan was different. He didn't set him up and then get rid of him. He just didn't stick with him.

Who do y'all think will go next? My guess is Kathy and I hate that b/c I like her. However, she hung on in Marquesas many times against the odds.

I REALLY hope Rob and Amber are not the Final Two. That would be almost as sickening as when Jenna won in the Amazon.

I think so too. Kathy is most likely to go next and I like her a lot. Probably one of my favorites. The good news is that just because it is likely that some one would be voted off, does not mean that would happen. Look at Amber a couple of episodes ago. To be honest the only two I would have a difficult time with winning is Shi Ann (sp?) or Jenna - only because they have not really done much. At least of the others whether you like them or not, I feel are deserving because of either physically or mentally are good players.

I liked Lex too. I also liked Ethan. I do think Lex made the best decisions booting off either Colby or Ethan, but I understand why he did. I personally think Rob is a bit of an arrogant ass, but can respect his athletic abilities and enjoy laughing at his antics. I also understand why Lex would not want to remain friends with Rob, but still fail to see the difference between booting Ethan and Lex. Ethan also thought his friendship with Lex was strong and was angry that Lex turned on him. And Lex stated in that instance that it wasn't the friendship, but it was the strategy of the game. Isn't that what Rob did? What was strategically best for him? I did not like either move, but heck it truly is a game.

Yes, it is. I guess what I had a problem with was that Rob induced Lex change to his position in reliance on a promise ("you take care of Amber and I'll take care of you"). Lex had his strategy in place but responded to a request from a friend and changed his whole game plan. (He admits now that this was unwise.) I think it was major "dirty pool" for Rob to turn on him after making him vulnerable. I think Rob planned to do this all along, myself.

Conversely, when Lex voted Ethan off, he did not try to trick Ethan into doing something that made Ethan vulnerable. He simply made the decision that he needed to separate himself from Ethan because as a former winner, Ethan had a target on his back. That's different to me.

But all's fair (or nothing has to be fair) in Survivor, right? I don't know why, but for some reason this move by Rob bothered me even more than Jonny Fairplay lying about his grandmother's death.

Basically it was a poor decision of Lex's to believe Rob. As they say hindsight is 20/20.

I am surprised about how Rob's decision is more upsetting than Johnny's, however everyone has different viewpoints and reasons. I did not always like decisions players made and how they played, but lying about your grandmother's death is like wishing her dead. That is probably the one move that I really detested in all of the survivor episodes. Although Johnny was also funny to watch.

Let's root for Kathy!

Jonny's lie was pretty despicable. I guess what I am saying is he was just throwing it out there in an attempt to play on people's emotions. He wasn't specfically inducing anyone to make themselves vulnerable.

I heard his grandmother thought it was funny, though, so I guess he comes by his twisted sense of humor honestly!

I'd love to see Kathy win. I want her, Rupert, and Big Tom in the Final 4. Not sure who else now that Lex is gone. I am afraid Tom is pretty taken in by the Robfather, though.

What Rob did was far worse. He came to Lex crying and asking for his help to keep Amber. That was not playing the game that was using his friendship with Lex to get what he wanted. Rob was wrong for doing what he did and should hve to saysorry. And his BS about he is always playing the game--lol. If that is so then why was that episode where he thought he lost Amber he cried the entier time? He was not playing the game then. Loser.

Kathy should have given Immunity to Lex because that would have thrown the game into a tail spin. they didn't think far ahead enough to decide who would go if she did that. That would have been the best trible counsel ever.

Maybe he was just play acting with his crying, too? Who knows.

Lex said in his interview that he told Kathy on the way to tribal council that if she tried to give him immunity, he'd refuse it. He said the shocked look on his face that we saw was editing. He said what he was responding to was a comment by Rob about their friendship.

Can you belive that Mark Burnett - the producer is putting his 2 shows against each other?SURVIVOR vs THE APPRENTICE on primetime - what's with that?

Does the producer actually decide when their shows are aired? I would think it would be the networks themselves. Although it does seem rather funny doesn't it.

Actually I do not believe the two are not competing. Isn't survivor on at 8:00EST and the APPRENTICE start at 9:00EST

Sorry to see Kathy go. I get the feeling that every immunity challenge requiring physical prowess will be won by Bob. These folks shoulda dumped him when they had the chance.
