@dlowan,
Miranda was 6 months old. Patty was 6 weeks old. Mikey was 3 months old. I didn't see much difference with age.

Buena suerte.

Every cat is exactly what, where and how it wants to be, every hour of the day, every day of its life. At least the adopted ones are, whether rescued or pedigreed.
I've had both pedigreed and rescues who were heathens; also had both who were darling angels. My vet gave me sage advice: Never, ever, try to second-guess a cat.

Also, perhaps rescued cats tend to be adult or near adult?

Age?? Theirs or yours???

THEIRS!

Saturday morning sleep in.HAH! They've been nuts for the last two hours.

Hope they settle in a little while all tired and all.

@dlowan,
At least they didn't need me to keep them amused and all...they just galloped over me a lot. It hurts when they launch themselves from a tender spot.

@mags314772,
All my cats have developed decent manners and have been cured of bad habits (except when they got very old and somewhat incontinent)

It's time for a squirter in every room and lots of praise and treats for manners.

Character:
Cornish Rex cats are BIG personalities. To sum it up, they are permanent kittens that just never seem to grow up. Always playful and seeking out company (both human and feline), a Cornish Rex will certainly keep you entertained and amused with its endearing ways. This boundless energy is fuelled by a very healthy appetite as these cats certainly do appreciate their food.

They STOLE my valium...which I have been using for spinal pain...and HID it.

It's in childproof container, s they won't hurt themselves...but I woul like it back!

@dlowan,
Evil kittens redeem selves during their first walk together (and Viola's first walk outside EVER!)

She settled amazingly quickly and was beginning to tend to follow Sebastian, which I hoped might happen.

I trespassed into neighbours' enormous back yard....because it's pretty safe but has lots of interesting stone walls and things to explore. Got busted by them...but they didn't seem to mind.

Viola was exploring happily, so I left them wanting more. Sebastian, of course, wanted to explore every nook and cranny.

I THINK Sebastian is beginning to come to me when he realises he has reached end of leash, or hears me calling.

They saw several humans in cars, on foot and people on bikes, including a little boy who came very close. Dealt with it.

Sebastian clearly really wants more and more...and I think Viola will actually adapt better than I thought she would.

They're now having some raw steak bits because they were so good, and because they are clearly wanting variety.

I hope all the new experiences have made them tired!

I got home from time with friends too late for them to get any sun...hopefully they can have some tomorrow, which is Sunday.

@dlowan,
Did I mention I got eaten alive by mozzies out there? Will have to give kittens their heartworm dose tomorrow.

HEY KID. Could you calm down a bit, so your mudder can relax?

@margo,
Two quiet content kittens. Viola did her usual desperate things to make me wake up....while Sebastian was impeccable....but she settled,
. Now I have to get up and make coffee and stuff before contemplating the horrors of cleaning and tidying and washing and all...so they'll be up and outrageous again.

Hope its warm enough for another walk.

Seems to calm them.

@dlowan,
Well done on taking both of them out for a walk yesterday, Deb.
And at once!
That is quite an achievement. Smile
