@dlowan,
Agh, I'm exactly the same with the vomit trigger, Deb!
In fact I'm feeling a bit woozy right now, having just read that! Wink

What is this thing about cats gobbling up their dried food like that?
No, vacuuming it up in record time, without chewing ......
Mine does exactly the same, from time to time.
With exactly the same result .... though outside, if I can get her out of the house fast enough after the first signs!
Heck, it's not as if we've been starving them, or something! Confused

But of course, you've fully recovered by now & looking forward to the next exciting developments when you get home tonight!
Yes? Very Happy

Oh no!! That's truly horrible.

This thread makes me vacillate wildly between being distraught that I don't have a cat and won't in the near future, and very, very grateful for that selfsame circumstance.

Goims within reason are good for you.

@msolga,
Cleaner is coming today. For the first time I left it up to her as to whether she ventured into kitten land or not.

All I hope is that if she did, she didn't close the study door again leaving the kittens out without a tray that they will use!! Or that one of them didn't get sucked into the vacuum cleaner, or trip her up!!!

No, no, everything will be just fine on your return home tonight, Deb.
I feel very confident about this! Very Happy

The very last thing you'd want on a Friday night would be to clean up after the place has been cleaned!

Fingers crossed, anyway!

@msolga,
She didn't brave the woollies....but she said there was some wee somewhere.

I'll phone her, but I'm hoping it wasn't wee but the repellent I sprayed where Viola weed in the bin liner!

@mags314772,
Came home and found they'd been PLAYING WITH MY HEARING AID!!!!!

Luckily it was firmly zipped into its container...which is the worse for wear.

Bought them a sensory/rubbing/chewing centre...from the same range that has been so successful.

Got some catnip spray to encourage them to explore.

Sebastian hates catnip spray.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

@dlowan,
get a micro switch and hook it up with a pad of your stuff on a tray and the microswitch under the pad. Hook it up to make a circuit with an electric boat horn when the switch is tripped (ie , everytime the kitties jump on the pad with your stuff). Most cats can jump five or six feet strait up when you reinforce their behavior thus.

@farmerman,
They will learn to respect.

Plus, they will get older.

Plus I don't know how to do that.

Plus it sounds cruel.

They are having a lot of fun at present fighting each other through my screen.

@dlowan,
Sounds like anarchy. Those kittens are no Prussians.

@Thomas,
Sebastian is the evil seed. As we speak he is bullying Viola.

I think he IS a Prussian!

Bastards!

I am about to take the evil one outside for a "walk"....if we get to that point.

@dlowan,
Had Sebastian out for his first walk.

he was fantastic given it's the first time on a leash, and first time outside in the world!

Focused on him learning that it was fun, and that he can't get the leash off, so we just went across the road and fossicked round in the neighbour's huge wild garden, or the edges thereof. He climbed a stone wall and rolled around in the sun!

Waiting to see if Viola notices all the exciting new smells.

@dlowan,
Wow.
You're going to take them on regular walks, Deb?
Any problems persuading him to return home after his sun bake? Smile

@msolga,
Sebastian I likely will...not sure how much Viola needs it...might have a go with her and see how she does.
I carried him home.

@dlowan,
Because he was tired after his first outdoor adventure, Deb?
Or because he wanted to linger longer?

Because I was ready to go home and we aren't walking where, when and as fast as I want yet!
