It was pretty spectacular as I had to keep leaping out of bed to get him off my dressing table....(he enjoys the mirror)....but through it all she remained curled up and relaxed.

She probably empathizes with you and is secretly rooting for you. A boundary-respecting Sebastian are would be good for her, too.

@Thomas,
Feline enlightened self interest?

Thank goodness they don't have thumbs!

@dlowan,
I know that somewhere in this thread someone mentioned the efficacy of a spray bottle of water as a deterrent to bad behavior? The beauty of it is, they never quite figure out from whence the retribution comes. It worked quite effectively on our girl kitten, who was a curtain climber.

Didn't have it in my bed though.

Good lord...he's sitting with admirable calm and poise on a box on my computer desk as I type.

Mind you, they've...especially him...been running around like mad cats for the last hour, and it's past their bedtime. And min32e....Viola typing....

@dlowan,
Kittens completely ignoring me and playing with each other all morning.....led by Viola. Oops...Sebastian has just become fascinated by the beads on my new shower curtain. This is NOT good news. Nor was finding him on top of the screen in the living room....which is where most of my washing ends up for drying. Now Viola has found the shower curtain....managed to discourage that so she went for my towel. She's looking for trouble in the way Sebastian usually does, but not as manically.

Oh well, time to clean the trays and head for work.

Poor woollies. Poor me.

Lead by Viola!
Now that's an interesting development!

@dlowan,
Early this morning, I had a vivid dream where I was madly trying to clean up after two little kittens. No doubt inspired by this thread.

That's my life!!!

Kittens clearly disgruntled and demanding to go to bed.

Sebastian just helped me clean my teeth.

@dlowan,
Lovely morning. Not.

Sebastian bolted his kibble and chundered all over bathroom floor.

I am ridiculously easily triggered to want to be sick too, so, when I was cleaning up his mess, I WAS.

Luckily I'd only had water, not being a person who is hungry in the mornings, so I had to clean up mine as well.

NOT helped by Viola eating a piece of his sicked up kibble.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Viola!

Now she's washing her bottom.

Cleanliness is not always next to godliness!

Ah, yes, the joys of cat motherhood. Believe it or not, deb, I miss it all. Even the ooky parts, although not as much.

@dlowan,
I'm sorry, but your description of the cat puke episode is hilarious!!! Countless are the times I have stepped barefoot into barfed up whatever. My husband and I have a rule: Whoever sees it first has to clean it up. Although, truth be known, I think sometimes he pretends not to see it

@dlowan,
Oh no!! That's truly horrible.

This thread makes me vacillate wildly between being distraught that I don't have a cat and won't in the near future, and very, very grateful for that selfsame circumstance.
