@MattDavis,
There were two big accidents on the expressway I use to get into work yesterday. They weren't had by me. See, I AM trying!

@dlowan,
Hopefully someone was learning.
Sorry someone had to fall into you for that someone to learn. Sad

Next time Sebastian goes walking in Hollywood, here's someone he should meet:

(He's just gotten a juicy part in the stage play of "Breakfast at Tiffany's)

I can see you as a backstage mother, Deb, getting S all sorts of great roles, photogenic as he is. Now just train him to sit and stay.

@MontereyJack,
NOOO....
Don't do that to poor Sebastian.
You are going to turn him into a little ego-driven monster.
No pageant parenting of your pussy cat.

@MattDavis,
Lol! I don't know that a cat would be affected by Hollywood. Unless it got in the way of eating, sleeping and playing.

Now child beauty crap is a whole nother thing. That's child abuse. Yecccchhhhhh.

My late, lamented Miranda had the chance to be an actress. She was offered a job in a commercial. I said no. Why? Because my uncle's dog Timmy was in a commercial. My uncle said he'd never do it again. Repetition and repetition. Awful for the dog.

And there was the issue of getting Miranda to do anything she didn't have a mind to do. Not the reason I said no, but food for thought.

@Roberta,
Well, Sebastian hasn't had any offers and I don't have time to pimp him around, so it's well moot.

It'd have to be a very ACTIVE role....maybe a stunt cat?

Have we seen photos of your Miranda?

@Roberta,
A tuxedo cat. Love tuxedo cats! She looks as delicate and quirky as both my Mirandas.

@dlowan,
She was tres quirky, and fearless. I believe that it was her personality more than her appearance that got her the offer. She crashed a party my neighbor was having. She made herself at home and made friends. At my neighbor's next party, Miranda was invited (I wasn't). I said sure. She went. She got discovered.

Although I think I made the right decision, I sometimes look back on that and wonder if she could have made me rich. We'll never know.

@margo,
So....I put in a complaint to the company that told me I had to pay twice the mortgage that I really had to pay, put me through a year of hell and ended up with me having to sell my apartment and move to the dongas, on Thursday.

Be interesting to see what transpires. Very little, I suspect!

I couldn't let myself think about it until now because it would have made me miserable and discontented.

Woollies desperate for play and attention. We have shifted into autumn weather, so nights are cool generally....woolly even more snuggly than usual time.

Viola has developed the weird desire to sit on my face at night! This is being vigorously discouraged but I am still sometimes waking to fur and two VERY bony back leg joints pushing into me. Very disconcerting to say the least!

Sebastian may be responding to the cat probiotics I am feeding to them. His breath is less horrible and the vomiting seems to have stopped. Of course, I am touching wood and attempting to propitiate the wrath of providence as I say this!

No woolly walks since I last hurt myself, but the pain is now lessening so this weekend is walk weekend! I desperately need exercise, too.

We actually have a ten day leafy sea dragon festival up here in April...I am looking forward to it....lots of art and stuff. It's a bit further south than I am, but very accessible.

What does this mean? Do you have to move? I don't think so. I'm confused.

Face sitting is a definite no-no, even for extremely tolerant moi.

I think you should make little leafy sea dragon hats for the kits, take them, their leashes, and the stroller to the festival, walk them up and down, and call it performance art. Performance art is hot. You may win a prize.
