@MontereyJack,
THANK you Margo! Margo is a great photographer!

Any woollies leaping come out?

Monterey Jack....Viola has always been Rubenesque....and I fear she has far too much belly.

@dlowan,
No leaping woollies, I'm afraid. All too blurry! Sad

But, here's Viola trying to find a few crumbs:

V & S are beauties. Was impressed how corrugated their fur looks. When you stroke them can you feel up and down texture, and is the skin wrinkled like a sphinx cat? Their eyes are amazing! Thanks, Margo for sharing your photos. Thanks, Deb for sharing (not shearing) your woolies.

@nextone,
Their fur is so soft it's hard to feel the crinkles.

I don't think their skin is wrinkled...but I've never seen them naked!

Back to take another gander at the pictures. I still wanna touch them. I'm guessing that they feel a bit like Persian lamb. I'm also guessing that you won't be bringing them to the Big (still damp) Apple so I could meet them in person.

Such is life.

@Roberta,
Good to see you Boida! I was just about to Pm you to see how you are.

Can't afford to bring woollies to NYC, sadly.

: - (

I have a fat envelope from Sydney which I think may have more of Margo's woolly pictures in it! Yay!

Meanwhile, woollies have done an excellent job in alerting me to more white tail spiders. Oh the excitement of the spider hunt!

More like cellulite. You did say they're Rubenesque, and Rubens's models had it all over their bodies. Welcome to the club, my feline fellow friends of food!

Thomas, since we are revolving around cats here, shouldn't that be "Fangs" as in "Fangs a lot"?

@MontereyJack,
My boy has seen the sea! And he walked there....or rather jogged, scampered and galloped there!

Except for sudden stops to sniff lavender and other nice smelling stuff, or because he gets a bit fascinated or nervous, it's like walking a little dog now. He trots along....gets under my feet and all, but I can mainly walk really fast.

He was fascinated by the beach. We didn't get any further than the cliff tops as it was dark....but I'll take him down there some early morning.

I thought he'd be tired today, but he's full of beans.

He's just not really a cat!

I'll second that once the two of you have taken your first bath in the ocean.

@Thomas,
aren't you being a bit of a doubting Thomas about a cat who plays in a bathtub?

He looked mighty felinial in those pictures Margo took. He's a cat. He's just eccentric and an independent spirit.

He doesn't play in it when it's got water in it except by accident!

Dunno 'bout that! I saw him run through the hose!

Did look a tad indignant, though!
