@dlowan,
So, deb. Any interest in your dwelling? Do you still have the bronchitis?

@Roberta,
Someone is interested....whether she makes an offer and whether it is acceptable is the question.

I'm getting betTer, I think....less muck, but I still feel very viral. Once again, had to come home and sleep after doing bits and pieces. Heigh ho, it's off to work I go tomorrow. Sigh.

Just did a bit more painting. Viola leaped at the wall and then scampered off, leaving little white paw marks to scrub off. She's such a helpful little cat!

@dlowan,
Oh boy. Viola has gone NUTS. She seems to think my bed is her pissing place. Just what I need...a house full of cat piss when I am trying to get people to buy!

They're locked out of the room, of course ( I'm just hoping I can get the bedding dry by three!) I saw her trying to get in...a while later I found shed pissed out on the balcony...passing a perfectly good litter tray to get out there!

I can only think she's reacting to the changes....and the tray that is usually out on the balcony is currently in my boot, so I'll get that out after the open and put it back out there.

The place reeks of the spray that gets rid of the cat piss odor, which I ran out of last night before I could really soak her latest effort,so I have just had to soak it now!

The killer is that the incontinence sheet I got for Miranda had to be laundered last night, so she managed to get the mattress later that night!

And being locked out of my room is going to disturb her more. Sigh.

Man, these cats both drink a LOT of water, which is generally something you like to see....but it means they piss like theres no tomorrow.

@dlowan,
I so hope your place gets sold really soon, Deb, to put Viola out of her (apparently) stressed state.
I guess she's not coping with all the strange smells of totally unknown people she discovers on returning to her home? Who are these invaders? And where are they now? Smile
Good luck for today. Not long to go!
p.s. what happened to the potential buyer from last week?

@msolga,
Dunno. Her son came last open and seemed pretty enthusiastic.

Not sure if she's having a think or has lost interest....or checking finance, salability of her place etc.

She's been in the same little bluestone single fronter, with quite a big yard, since 1989 so it's a big change.

@dlowan,
It certainly would be a big change for her, Deb.
But then I'm thinking: change might be necessary, for whatever reasons.
I wouldn't write her off, just yet.
I think she might be thoroughly considering her options.
Your option doesn't look too bad at all!

@msolga,
Just heard that she said she hadn't been able to speak to her son yet.

More piccies of my place up on the realestate.com site now. Be interested in what you think.

I'm in my usual open inspection cafe now. With two cross cats in the car!

Just took a look.
Looks really good, Deb.
The kitchen looks great! (compared to mine. Neutral )
And the flowers, the ambience!
Well done. You've been busy, I can see!
Looks like a very nice place to come home to!

Ah well.
It's gotta be done.
Let's hope that V's peeing is under control then.
Give her a big hug from me, she's a sensitive little thing, obviously. Smile

@msolga,
I'll bloody sensitive her.

Re possible buyer....that or she hopes the price will come down. She knows the agent will call her if I have another offer.

@dlowan,
Of course!
But way too early to reduce your price now, right?
You might choose not to reduce it at all.
Whatever suits your requirements, right?

Aw, be nice to V!
But why am I even saying this?
I know you will be, anyway! Smile

Hey buyer lady. Buy Deb's place. Don't you know poifect when you see it. Buy it and give the bunny some peace. Also the woollies.

Deb, your bronchitis gone?

@msolga,
I only have a six week window to sell....we are half way through that, so I'll likely lower by $5,000.

@Roberta,
Lol! I'm not really wheezing any more, but this thing, which appears to be influenza A, by the way, keeps coming back. My throat is sore again and my nose is stuffed up. Breathing not fantastic.

Trying to decide whether to exercise today or not....lightly!

@msolga,
Re being nice to Viola: I have been EXCRUCIATINGLY nice to her! Operating on the hypothesis that she is acting out internal distress, I have been giving both cats a lot of attention....don't want Sebastian to feel left out. Have been playing with them a lot...bought them a new cardboard cat scratching pad even. It's supposed to be irresistible and I want to stop Viola scratching carpet. It IS irresistible....to Sebastian.

Meanwhile both cats are looking so innocent that it is scary. Looks like walk in the park weather.

Is there a nook to put catnip in the scratching pad? I've seen ones that have it. They go NUTS.

@MontereyJack,
It comes with catnip.
So far the only catnip I have used with a plaything for these cats made them run for their lives in horror! They never went near that toy again.

I guess I can let them sniff the catnip and see if they have changed their minds about it before adding any to the scratch pad.

Agent rang a while ago....a fella wants to look through on Tuesday. Hasn't been before. He'll have to deal with the woollies!
