It is funny how few people know history even recent history. History is over and done with for most people. If you ask most people about the Great Depression, they could tell the stock market collapsed. My mom would tell tales of people crossing the country looking for work who would stop by asking for something to eat and even though they had little they would feed them.
At that point capitalism was considered to have failed and the country was looking for a different economic system. Boat loads of prominent Americans went to Russia to look at communisms. The short comings of communism were not obvious yet. A strong communist movement began to take place in America. As it began to gain popularity FDR did what major political parties do, he took the most popular programs of the upstart party. One of the communists most popular programs was social security like program.
Most people have heard about all the people that were blacklisted for attending communist's meetings, but some American communists found a new home in the Republican party and were worshiped like Gods and made national heroes. The fact that Frank Myers is father of conservative movement and was one of the best-known American communists is little known. How the little man lost his job for attending a communist meeting but the top communists being major players in Republican party does not make sense.
The Facebook post used the Khruschev quote at the UN that "they would take over America without firing a shot." How would you go about that? You might put "the former communists" in key positions where they could start a political movement that at first seems harmless but has done untold damage to the middle class. When a world power destroys its middle class, it is no longer a world power. Trump in his first book before he was president tells you that you better get rich quick because there will no longer be a middle class in America just a few rich and a few hundred million poor. The conservative movement is responsible for mounting the attack on the middle class and a communist was the father of the conservative movement. There was one of the most radical shifts of wealth in history the wealthy in America. Before the conservative movement a man made the living, and the woman raised the children. Now a couple must both work and some even have to hold a second job in some cases.
A college education and a state school may cost $300,000 I could pay my tuition by mowing a few lawns it was $123 a semester. Once Reagan cut taxes on wealthy by 75% the states followed suit with huge tax cuts for the wealthy. Who paid for the tax cuts for rich? The college students today because every time the state cut taxes for the rich there was a corresponding raise in tuition to pay for it. Khruschev may be dead but his plan to destroy America is alive and alive and well. If Khruschev were alive today he would award Russia's highest award to Frank Myers, the father of conservative movement for a job well done.
How much more do we allow the rich to take from our families. We had a city attorney fresh out of school who owed $300,000 in student loans. She is now officially a wage slave. Working a $50,000 a year job she has no chance of paying that loan back. Where is that $300,000 loan going? Directly into the pockets of some billionaire in tax cuts. This happened on our watch we let it happen. This year was no different. The legislature rang with calls for more tax cuts for the rich to match tax cuts in surrounding states of course tuition at state college would have to be raised again. Students are viewed as cash cows a source of revenue. State schools should be funded by the state there is no reason a student should have to borrow $300,000 just to get an education. History teaches us the rich will take everything. Ony the inevitable revolution puts a stop to their greed. There has been a greed fest going on for the last 50 years and Frank Meyers was behind it. Myers believed that there were only two legitimate uses for government money, the military, and a police force. Myers was also responsible for deaths of many of this generation. He pushed the domino theory that if Vietnam fell the world would fall to communism. Vietnam fell to communism 50 years ago and the world did not fall to communism. We now know that the theory was nonsense, but it won't bring back all the boys who were drafted and died halfway around world because a communist said the sky was falling.
If you lose a game, it is best to list your excuses up front that way people won't expect you to win. Trump is already list reasons the republicans will lose the midterm elections. It won't be because Trump screwed the American people over with tariffs and started a useless war. According to Trump's national address it will be because America has the most corrupt elections in the world.
Up until Trump thought he might lose an election America had the fairest election in the world. When Trump lost the 2020 election he tried to win it through the courts. He went through 60 courts law and lost. When his attorney was asked for proof, the attorney said, "Well it could have happened that way."
The day after the November election Trump will climb on his soap box and explain that the republican's loss had nothing to do with him. It was the Chinese that switched all the republican votes to democrat votes.

How will you be able to prove you are an American citizen under Trump's Save America Act? Will you have to bring two witnesses that were there on the day of your birth? I have no document that says I am a US citizen. Will we all be required to get passports or a similar document? Trump objective is to stop people from voting at least certain people. Passports are far more likely to held by the rich who travel in and out of the country. If Trump succeeds in making it much harder to vote millions of Americans will not bother to vote. Republicans win elections by keep people from voting. Democrats win elections by getting more people to vote.
Trump made decision during his first term to pull out of the treaty with Iran that allowed inspectors to inspect Iran nuclear instillations. This ended with a war with Iran that is costing us billions in government money and billions more for higher gas prices. If Trump had been interested in preventing Iran from getting a bomb he would have stayed in the treaty. Isreal tells Trump what to do and Trump does it. Isreal loves to suck America into the endless middle east wars. When Isreal talked Trump into bombing Iran's atomic development site, they hoped it would start a war with the US. It didn't Iran did not retaliate. Trump declared after the bombing that Iran's nuclear site was completely destroyed. Isreal talked Trump into taking out Iran's government which started the war. Trump claims the reason for the war is to keep Iran developing a bomb, but didn't he destroy that with the first bombing? Iran was Isreal problem not ours. Isreal was given a blank check from the US taxpayers to fund their ongoing wars but that was not enough Isreal had to drag us into their war.
Trump went into office saying he would end the war in Ukraine war on day one. We are now over 400 days into his term in office, and the Ukraine war rages on. That is alright Trump started a completely unnecessary war with Iran as a distraction. Trump says he does not want Iran to get a nuclear weapon, but he was not concerned when he dropped out of the treaty that allowed inspector to inspect Iran's nuclear program. Next, at Isreal request, he bomb Iran's nuclear site, and he declared it completely destroyed. Iran did not declare war even after we bombed them. Next Isreal hears of a governmental meeting in Iran and asks Trump to assassinate all of Iran's leaders. Trump as bonus kills a couple of hundred school children.
Trump instead of ending the Ukraine war but he started an unnecessary war with Iran.

The Iran war was a giant distraction from Epstein files it worked and it took the press attention. Now Trump's personal defense attorney will head the justice department and take control over what information that is released to the public. One young girl made an allegation that Trump and Epstein had called her to baby sit from an ad and they proceeded to rape her. The Justice department decided the charges were not creditable. After all we know that Jeffery Epstein would not rape a teenage girl so what part of the girl's allegation is not credible? Surely old crotch grabbing Trump would never take advantage of a helpless woman. Trump made it absolutely clear how he treats women, but the allegations were ruled not credible so there would be no investigation.
Trump believed he was Putin's best friend and if he asked him to end war, he would do it as a personal favor. Putin did not feel the same.
Trump's name appeared 6,000 times in the Epstein files more than any other with the exception of Epstein. Where there is smoke there is fire and where there is a forest fire there is a lot of smoke. Trump's personal defense attorney was in charge of the Epstein investigation as the assistant attorney general before he became acting attorney general. I wonder who made the decision that the girl's story was not credible. The girl is accusing a convicted sex offender who specialized in teenage girls. That alone should have established creditability. Would Epstein molest a teenage girl? If he could get his hands on her he would. The accusations were dismissed as not creditable because of the timing as the accusations were made close to an election. Other women came forward close to an election and Trump had to pay one of them $5 million. Trump also paid off a porn star before the election. The young girl might have been able to describe certain body parts that the porn star could verify. They used that on Clinton.
We are beginning to see the results of Trump's Big Beautiful Bill the country is seeing an outbreak of parasites. The CDC tracked 7 different parasite born illnesses before Trump's Big Beautiful Bill cut the employees who tracked 7 different parasites now CDC only track's 2. Of course, the money they saved on CDC cuts went for a good cause more tax cuts for the rich, so a few hundred poor people die it was for a good cause.
Trump's tax cut was so good the world's first trillionaire pays not one dime in income taxes. A kid working at McDonalds pays taxes but not a trillionaire. The trillionaire is doing untold millions of business with the government. At one time the rich were required to pay an alternative minimum tax. Once you totaled up your taxes and deductions even if your deductions exceeded your income, you still had to pay the minimum tax. The tax only applied to the rich not the middle class. Why should a trillionaire not pay any income tax. What did he do with the money he bought more votes for Trump.
Trump is now bragging that he bought 250 Cadillac Escalades which start at $90,000 each. Trump says they are for presidential motorcade. Does he really need 250 Cadillacs in his motorcade? When Trump was running for office, he promised to pay off the National Debt. That is 22,500,000 worth of Cadillacs is it any wonder that Trump bankrupted 9 businesses?
One of Trump's employees suggested that a stair lift be installed on Air Force One so that Trump can board. No word whether she is still employed by Trump. A stair lift may not be the only alternative. Trump could be lifted by helicopter to the top of the stairs. It is only a matter of time until Trump rolls down the stairs. I would not want him to hurt the stairs, repairs are expensive.
Rand Paul is trying to crucify Fauci in a Monday Morning quarterbacking play to gain political points. Certainly, looking backwards mistakes were made that is what happens in an emergency. We lost over a million Americans and Fauci actions probably saved another million but that is not important to Rand Paul. What is important is getting the republicans elected in the midterms, so they don't lose control of the government and more importantly don't lose some of the huge tax cuts for the rich. Trump is now the most unpopular president in history, and the republicans want to bring back the good old days of COVID and even though it started under Trump they will blame the democrats for not letting them spread COVIDs to millions more. We have to remeber that no one need get COVIDs. Trump told us all you need to do was drink bleach it kills COVIDs.
We have all seen the cartoon shows where the entertainer is bombing and the giant hook comes out from behind the curtain and pulls the bombing entertainer off the stage. Same thing well a variation of the same thing happened Trump. His employees watched as he started comparing grass to people. I don't know how that is done but I am sure Trump does. Trump said all the grass in national parks will be replaced with Kentucky blue grass in honor Mitch McConel. National Parks cover many acres. There was a twist as all sudden the press was ushered out of room like there was a bomb threat. His handlers believed he might be having a medical emergency others speculated his diaper had blown out. Trump no longer walks into the press conference nor does he walk out. The press is taken in with Trump already seated and taken out while Trump remains seated. Is there a reason this has changed.
The Trump administration has egg on its face this morning as it had to drop the felony charges against a man that they said damaged the reflecting pool. The government employs testified that the damage was already done by Trump's contractor. It was a $13.5 million no bid contract meant to pay back the contractor for giving Trump millions in campaign contributions. The contractor likely had no experience with pools. He likely hired a crew that knew maybe a little more than he did. Trump tried to cover his ass by having innocent people arrested but it did not work. There was a 1,000 ft cut in the seam which was the seam coming apart. Trump stood up before the American people and told them it was vandals that caused the botched job and lied through his teeth. Having innocent people arrested should be grounds for impeachment.

Trump posted a film that supposedly show a vandal destroying the reflecting pool. It is a bout 10 minutes and we see several government employees with sticks in the reflecting pool. The film than zeroes in on a civilian who puts his hands into the water. To make that 1,000-foot tear in the bottom his arm would have to have been 500 feet long. Somebody can't do much damage to the reflecting pool with their bare hands if it was properly installed. The sad part is Trump cult members will look at the film and say there is the proof that it was not a ripoff by Trump but those evil vandals with 500 ft arms.
