Okey-dokey. I went. Was calm driving there, a bit nervous asking for an application, even more calm when I finished.

They'll take applications for a few days and then start calling people.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts guys ~ I know that was ninety percent of what got me through it.

Love,

Rae

I know you are, love. I'm just not very good at keeping in touch these days. The fact that I'm on A2K a bit more might help with that situation.

But, know that I am always here for you, too. Anytime day or night.

Love,

Rae

Same here Rae. I'm a terrible keep in toucher myself, so we're in the same boat there.

Thanks ;-)

Rae, we don't know each other that well, but when I have been in wild stress, I have walked a lot. I mean a lot, miles.
I won't go so far as to say walking equals wellbeing, but it helped me. What happens is, that as you walk, the space becomes more yours. Much more than if you were in a car going by or an airplane over. You can stop and look at yards, even cats in yards. In my own way, I like a target destination, where I can get a cup of coffee, tea, whatever.
But the destination could be anything and ever changing. It is a kind of meditation too.

Walking is a good idea, Osso.

Hey Rae, haven't checked into this thread for a while. Good to see you have at least a couple potential jobs.

I have been in a bad funk myself. My job is changing, my finances all over the place and my animals are less than well. Damn, it's waaay too cold here to walk for miles.

Hugs to you Rae, calm and strong thoughts heading your way.

Ossobuco ~ no apology for insensitivity necessary. It's a great idea. I DO live in Florida and the only time to difficult to walk is in the summer ~ late afternoon. It downpours almost every day.

This isn't an excuse, but both of my ankles are completey shot ~ I must have torn ligaments in both at least fifty times each over my life time. While it's not impossible for me to walk, I look really funny because I try to steady myself on whatever is nearby. So, Mom and I going to try bicycles ~ we both now have headlights for them, but I need a new back tire and funds are WAY low.

Littlek ~ sorry to hear about your funk. Did you finally decide to change jobs or is the new nephew just adding to your duties? (Congratulatioins, by the way!) Is there a low-cost clinic you could take the animals too? Just a thought.

Thanks for the thoughts guys ~ I really appreciate it.

Love,

Rae

Okay.....If I could trouble everyone tomorrow at about 1:45 p.m. (EST), I could really use some good vibes/prayers during my interview!

I'm not nervous. Yet. I just want a job. Since I was called to come in, (rather than me soliciting), the anxiety level is very low.

I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
