If Bush didn't lie...why are so many calling for his and Cheney's heads? Over 70% of the populace think that the Iraqi war was a mistake...they can't be all liberals or Democrats...Congress is investigating Bush's and Cheney's lies...but they have to be and are being methodical...however Bush is citing executive privilege, to block any investigation of possible wrongdoing. Why? Because he's as guilty as sin...and would serve jail time, if pursued to its' logical end.
And we don't need for you to prove Clinton lied...because he lied, he was impeached...although it didn't go the nine yards, and he was allowed to serve out his term. He lied about sex....Bush lied about reasons to go to war...people have died...last time I checked, no one died from Clinton's lying about his affair.
As Bill Moyers said in his speech in January concerning the media and its' losing ground from being "free press"....the administration is talking about a surge, in Iraq (in terms of military strength and offensives), as though it were an electrical current, increasing the output, instead of the spurting of blood from some troop member's arm.
This administration used the press to promote its mindset to have this war, at all costs...and used slogans to demean and dismantle its' critics, and to bumper sticker the war for the masses....lie upon lie....
Perhaps, in the war against terrorism, you want your fundamental freedoms infringed upon...but I don't...and neither do millions of other Americans...
I'd sooner see them strike us again...and again...perhaps, then, some of you might be "bombed" into common sense...I said it, and I'm here to represent it...A government that doesn't serve me as a citizen, isn't my government...and you can take that to any bank, and cash that check. The Constitution insures the funds.
