hilary is only saying that,she dont really mean it IMO,the republicans at election time always accuse the dems of being soft of terrorism and not being able to defend the USA,they will play the patriotic card as usual.

Don't lie to yourself, she is no different, except she wants to turn the US into a welfare state too.

If you account for the national debt, budgetary deficits, and consumer debt, we're actually not wealthy at all.

I'm not quick to attack Iran, I'm quick to ensure Iran does not become more of a problem then it already is. Why are you so quick to attack America?

Request of a host nation? I thought we invaded the poor sods, screwed their country worse than their home-grown dictator ever could and planted our own choice there as government.

I travel all over the world as part of my job. Earlier, we used to be envied. I loved that. Today, we are despised. And it is because of this approach of bullying a country and then claiming we were 'invited". We seriously need to grow up and get over thus school bully phase.

Iran is not a tin pot dictatorship. This is a mature thousands of year old culture and a large modern economy. Do not be mislead into another adventure by the idiot in the White House. We do not have any more of our kids to squander.

Well there are reasons for disliking someone and there are reasons for disliking someone. We have been an imperial power ever since the Spanish wars and our occupation of The Philippines. So we have always created a level of angst. Only to be expected. Until recently this angst was balanced - sort of - by the overwhleming good we visited on this planet. My argument is that that balance has been vitiated. The perception of good has reduced dramatically and it saddens me no end. The respect and envy is gone. Really gone. Now its just derision, contempt and dislike. And that's in Europe.

@Silverchild79,
I looked to the left, and who did I see?
Leftist agitator Scooby Doo, throwing molotov cocktails at me.
I then said with a grin, as I pulled out the pin,
Have a grenade, or two, for Marx' and Lenin's, collective sin.

Wow...someone gets the notion of elementary rhyming, then thinks them self a poet. The meter is all wrong, which negates it's attempt at being poetry...and its' premise is juvenile and maudlin....and to think this is the person who told me that I could not write. LOL

He was exiled for doing what he accused others of doing. And for a month, no less...must have been quite an infraction.
