The terrorists who want to harm us will likely have their herd thinned once we leave the middle east and remove their reasons for wanting to harm us. Further, the the money we save by leaving, we might be able to salvage what is left of our country.

I agree if we leave the out come will be the same. The one variant is that i believe we will bomb Iran and presto there goes world war 3 .

Russia left Afghanistan, and they don't suffer from Afghani terrorism. The Chechens are the only real terrorist group in Russia, and they want independence, can't really negotiate with them. The wars in Afghanistan and Vietnam PROVE my point that enemies don't "follow you home" when you stop occupying their land, they go about their business. In fact, I cannot think of a single historical reference where an occupying army left a region, only to suffer serious violent blowback.

Abandon the jews? Naah. Stop support for Israel? I think we need to consider it. Not to "appease the terrorists", as you put it, but to let them fight their own fight. Israel hasn't exactly been the follower of non-violence. They *were* the first to break the non-aggression pact with Hamas.

If they want the Temple Mount so badly, let them get it themselves.

How quaint. Seems you don't know anything about 9/11. Most of the terrorists were from Saudi Arabia and Yemen, yet the administration pushed the lie forward that Saddam Hussein had something to do with 9/11, which he clearly did not...but they used it as an excuse to go to war, that they had set into motion "before" Sept 11, 2001. If you think we can go to war with Iran...a conventional war...then you don't understand history, along with the rest of the stuff you don't understand.
Russia has already warned the administration not to bomb Iran...so if we do, we bring Russia and it's allies, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and perhaps China, into the equation.

Hamas has NEVER recognized Israels right to exist, Hamas continues to broadcast from their radio and T.V. stations the need for the Jews to leave. And calling for the destruction of Israel. Hamas is not intrested in any peace as long as the Jews remain in the land of Israel. Hamas continues to talk out of both sides of their mouth, words of peace for us here in the West, and words of war when speaking with their own people.
