You provided the link, not me. maybe you should be a little more thorough on your research, when and if you research. Maybe you should stick to strictly opinion, LOL.

@Silverchild79,
many countries knew they were in bed with terror and that they needed to address it, Saudi is only one of them.

Bush said the day after 911 that countries who did away with terror would receive aid from the US and countries who continued to harbor terror would be punished

thus America's dealing with Saudi have been "by the book" since 911

by your judgement B16 should we also break ties wit the philippines? They also have problems with terror in their country and didn't do much to stop it before 911.

@Silverchild79,
B16 you continue to distract

The day the world was told that they could no longer harbor terror was the day Saudi (and several other countries) stood up and did something about it

Mcveigh was the second worst terrorist attack ever, should we take action against Oklahoma?

The purpose of this thread isn't to look back. It's to look forward

looking forward what should we do now that we know what's going on in Iran?

If our inaction in the past is so offensive to you why do you advocate we take further inaction now?

@Silverchild79,
Not inactions, but actions based on lies and greed. The fact that Bush is against putting money into the VA here to care for the soldiers destroyed by the war that he can seem to funnel billions into to keep the no bid contractors happy. The fact that the whole Iraq war debacle was incompetently laid out and executed, and that for some reason we determined Iraq was a bigger threat than the country we gave a pass to, even though they provided most of the hijackers responsible for the attacks. This administration has YET to do anything right, now you want to go and bomb Iran, and NOT put boots down to secure it once we wreck it, and that's supposed to make sense? Or be a "plan"? We should have looked at Iran a LONG time before Iraq.

every action done by a career politician is misrepresented and in the interest of somebody with a checkbook, every last one

I support our actions because they give oppressed people a chance at freedom while attacking totalitarian religious ideology, will someone get rich off of it? Yes, somebody ALWAYS gets rich in America. Look at how much the wealthy land owners in the 1st congress saved in taxes by detaching themselves from the crown.

freedom is always worth the cost, it is the most noble reason to make war. You have obviously taken that for granted.

No, but we are NOT fighting for AMERICAN freedom, and if IRAQIS want IRAQI freedom, IRAQIS can fight and pay for it. AMERICA does NOT owe IRAQ freedom, and should NOT be paying BILLIONS and BILLIONS for IRAQI freedom. Obviously YOU should move to IRAQ if you feel so strongly that IRAQ deserves freedom and you can pay and fight for IRAQI freedom in IRAQ.

And as I have said numerous times, I do not give a **** about Iraqi's or their freedom, not mine or Americas problem. NO NEW NATION BUILDING!!!!
