I am one hell of a lot smarter then this bad guy!!!!!!

First I know that the vin number is in more placed then the dash board on a car.

Second I would had used the tor network to set up a free email account for emailing the lady about buying the car so that could not lead back to me.

Third I know that a throw away phone is worthless for protection if you do not throw it away and still you better not used it in any location that can ID you.

Lord it hard to think of all the errors he make that allow them to find him within 52 hours.

@H2O MAN,
In what way dear heart am I wrong?

Give me your right wing wisdom concerning this very stupid terrorist.

Went half way around the world to learn to build a bomb that was a piece of **** and he would have been far better off with a simple pipe bomb if nothing else.

Did everything wrong you can think of in covering his tracks and that is just what we know he did wrong in the public reports.

Yes, I am sure with the kind resources the government apply to finding this gentleman they would also had found me in his place but I would at least not had drawn a large arrow pointing to me.

No one needed a 100 million dollars plane to find this man.

Now as long as you used it once and throw it away there is no way of tracking you however as you used it for any length of time more and more people are going to have that number and know that it belong to you.

Hell the police even if you used call blocking can find out the headset ID if they know who you call and the time you call.
This is reacting after the event. The aircraft gives them the option of switching instantly and tracking in real time. They needed to know if more attacks where about to begin. Surley you can see the aircraft is the faster option ? You want to save money but how much would the next attack cost ?

3 in Custody May Have Supported Bomb Suspect

"Three Pakistani men taken into custody during a series of raids across the
Northeast as part of the investigation into the failed Times Square car bombing"

Is there any chance these three are Muslim?

@H2O MAN,
And you point is what?

As 99 percent of Pakestians are Muslim and that is where the bomber homeland is what does that happen to prove in your sick little mind?

Second they may or may not have anything to do with the bombing as it is a common method of sending funds back home to family by giving it to a trusted person to carry it directly across the borders instead of by the more costly slower banking system.

@H2O MAN,
That what I wonder about you oh my god they are Muslims who are moving funds in and out of a Muslim country!!!!!

And if it was a story dealing with Cuba Oh my god they are Catholic and that is support to have some meaning at all?

When and if it is shown they was a part of a terror plot instead of a common means of moving small funds around the world then you have a little ground to made some comments.

But even there you would have only a little grounds.

You should try to control your irrational hate of all people who happen to belong to a major world religion.

Second note you are surely not a free thinker so if you had been born into the Middle East the likelihood of yourself being an evil Muslim is near to 100 percent.

@BillRM,

The threat is Muslim - Islamic extremists and radical jihadists.

Billy, you are being quite childish in your irrational & feeble attempt to deflect responsibility... grow up.

@H2O MAN,
No one had yet shown the gentlemen moving the funds are radical anything number one.

And when the right wings anti abortions Christians had used bombs and guns to kill people I had yet to see anyone condemn Christians as a group as you seem to wish to do to Muslims.

When you get better at english you will know about nouns and how other words qualify or describe the noun . EXTREMISTS is the noun. Any questions ?

how exactly does somebody **** up that bad?

if terroriists can perfectly demolish two skyscrapers, with aireplanes at ******* that, why cant they rig up a simple carbomb right?

the technical details are probably for simpler for the car bomb.

The first was their A team and they seem not to have a great deal of depth number one.

Second, they took over the planes with box cutters and surprise and the only skill shown was the ability to barely fly the planes into buildings.

As modern jets are not that hard to fly compare to small planes at least to the degree of flying them into buildings and there are a few hundreds of thousands of weekend pilots in this country alone who could had done so.

All and all the skill set seem fairly poor for these people.

@ghostinthemachine702,
You know as terrorists they are sadly lacking even the fools that flown the planes into the buildings as there are a thousands and one points of attack in this society that would cause a great deal more harm.

I just wrote two examples of this and then decided to not to post them even if those points of attacks are not a great secret.

One would had force a few millions people to relocated within a few days and the other would had cause a body count in the 40 to 50 thousands range.

God help us if a few civil engineers join the holy war on us.

It's not just about how many people they can kill. They could have flown the planes into any number of targets, and killed more people, but by hitting the targets they did, they created a media event, and a cultural icon for their followers. Think of how many different filmed images of the attacks you have seen. If they had blown up the subways instead, we would have only seen the aftermath, and on a much smaller scale.

They may not have sophisticated methods, but the Islamic extremists and radical
jihadists that are out to kill innocent citizens should never be underestimated.
