Best laugh I’ve had in awhile.

I sat on a jury once, in which the defendants chained either themselves or their child to something at an abortion clinic. The jaws of life busted when they attempted to cut the chain and they wanted these jerks to pay for it. It was apparent that they expected to lose and were prepared to appeal. Oddly, when we were asked if we were prejudiced in the case and I raised my hand I got ignored.

More or less the same thing happened to me, and I answered, but I got selected anyway.

The question was the one about following the law in issuing a verdict regardless of personal opinion of that law.
