1 - I don't think, therefore I'm not.
Ilustration: One evening Carp went to relax at a local tavern. The tender approached and said, "Ah, good evening Monsieur Carp! Shall I serve you the usual drink?".
Carp replied, "I think not.", and promptly vanished.
2 - Impersonation : A renowned Carp philosopher was held in high regard by his driver, who listened in awe at every speech while his boss would easily answer questions about morality and ethics.
Then one day the driver approached the philosopher and asked if he was willing to switch roles for the evening's lecture. The philosopher agreed and, for a while, the driver handled himself remarkably well. When it came time for questions from the guests, a woman in the back asked, "Is the epistemological view of the universe still valid in an existentialist world?"
"That is an extremely simple question," he responded. "So simple, in fact, that even my driver could answer that, which is exactly what he will do."
3 - About being : An existentialist carp was sitting in a cafe when a waitress approached him: "Can I get you something to drink, Monsieur Carp?"
Carp replied, "Yes, I'd like a cup of coffee with sugar, but no cream".
Nodding agreement, the waitress walked off to fill the order and Carp returned to working.
A few minutes later, however, the waitress returned and said, "I'm sorry, Monsieur Carp, we are all out of cream -- how about with no milk?"
