Some of yall know Andy/Clubber. He is not on A2K but has played in some of our sports games. He works for me, is a life-time Steelers fan and is the singer in the band Bella Morte (google that and click on video to see one of his songs).
Katie, his long time partner, goes under the knife at UVA Tuesday morning. She has Krone's. They will be taking out portions of her intestines.
The operation will take a few hours but the recovery time apparently will be lengthy, as in 6 weeks.

Sorry to hear that, John. Will definitely be thinking of Andy and Katie tomorrow and the days/weeks ahead.

Ah, yes, Alex. The Tigers did well. And for a while, perhaps for a brief while, or not, Detroit fans will go to sleep each night thinking and hoping that this will be the year.

Here is something you and others might find interesting to look at on the Yahoo League page. Just below the green ad, slightly to the right of center, is "head to head stats."
Click on that and then click the option for "totals." There you will see how your batters are doing relative to batters on other players' teams. Scroll back and you can click on pitchers.
It could, perhaps, help you identify weaknesses in your team.

And now I stink. Ah, well.

Andy reports that Katie's surgery went well. The surgeon said she had very healthy tissue next to the portions of her guts he took out. Andy was off to be with her when she wakes up. Sweet, huh?
Perhaps. But he took along his thingamijig to capture and post to facebook any mindless babble from her. She is a saint for putting up with him.
He said to say thanks to yall for your well wishes.

All the best to them - and he really shouldn't post her babble. What happens in the hospital should stay in the hospital!
