My team is not doing at all well. I am losing to Maporsche this week.
A couple of you have asked privately about Andy/Clubber's partner, Katie. She got turned loose Monday (6 days after going in for surgery). She had a couple of rough days Friday and Saturday but bounced back well and is at home with Andy and her parents.
Early on in her stay at UVA hospital, her roommate was a lady who was quiet and whose visitors were quiet. She got released Friday.
Her new roommate on Saturday was a teenaged girl and her mother. The latter was, how can I put this diplomatically, poor white trash from the extreme south-western part of Virginia.
Andy for a few hours but poor Katie for many had to put up with the loud, toothless mom screaming into the telephone to everyone she knew, bitching over and over about one thing or the other, including having to get a few hundreds yards away from the hospital to have a smoke. Did I mention it was over and over?
Andy wrote a quick story about the lady in the next bed. All true, but it read like something some yankee might derisively write. Too much of a caricature of us rednecks.
This post does not, of course, belong here. But I had to use it or lose it.
I think that, next week, I am scheduled to lose in a match against Fbaezer. He has attacked Rednecks mercilessly in years past while I, Virginia gentleman that I am, have never said anything against him in Mexico.
