Brett has nothing to do with the success of the Vikings. Look no further than Percy Harvin.

I really have no patience with people who do not understand the game.

The fact that Gargamel and Wandel have elected Dallas as the victor gives me great solace.

Here is the schedule for the Divisional Round next weekend (1/16-17), the Championship Round (1/24), and the Super Bowl XLIV Game (2/7):

GAME #1 (4:30 pm ET 1/16) Arizona Cardinals @ New Orleans Saints
GAME #2 (8:15 pm ET 1/16) Baltimore Ravens @ Indianapolis Colts
GAME #3 (1:00 pm ET 1/17) Dallas Cowboys @ Minnesota Vikings
GAME #4 (4:40 pm ET 1/17) NY Jets @ San Diego Chargers

GAME #5 (1/24) Winner of GAME #1 vs Winner of GAME #3
GAME #6 (1/24) Winner of GAME #2 vs Winner of GAME #4

GAME #7 (2/7) Winner of GAME #5 vs Winner of GAME #6. Please also predict the final score in the Super Bowl Game (#7).

Just to recap the rules for this. I did not realize when I set this up that it was not practical for us to pick all the way through starting with the Wild Card Games just completed. Instead we picked those games - with 1 point being awarded to each player who made a correct pick.
NOW we are ready to pick all the way through using the schedule above regardless of which games you picked in the Wild Card Games.
AND it doesn't matter that (like Miz Cowdoc) you didn't pick the Wild Card Games. You can still play - but everyone must choose all 7 games in 1 sitting.
The winner will be the player who correctly picks the Super Bowl Champ (with the tiebreaker being the final score - more about that later).
There is a little game-within-a-game thing where we accumulate points for correct picks: 1 point for good pick in the Wild Card Games, 2 points for correct picks in the Divisional Round, 5 in the Championship Round and 6 in the Super Bowl Game.
Folks who played in the Wild Card Round have a head start with 1, 2 or 3 points already in their columns. And some are at 0.
Again:
Pick all 7 games by 1 pm ET Saturday 1/16. Add a guess as to the final score of the Super Bowl game. You can change your picks up to 1 pm 1/16.
Thanks for playing.

I haven't photomemoried all the posts so I don't recall if Gus posted his picks - are you just taunting the brave posters, Gus? she taunts. I should read back through a few pages before being accusatory.

I went trolling for players last evening and this afternoon. I see that the number of views took a nice spike, up 300 since 9 pm ET Monday. I hope that means people are mulling and will join us.
23 players in so far. Here is how the picks are breaking:
Game 1: 18 of us have the Saints while 5 have the Cardinals. That surprises me.
Game 2: 18 choose the Colts vs 5 for the Ravens. Baltimore gets no respect.
Game 3: 15 for the Vikings and the Cowboys garner 8.
Game 4: 21 think the Chargers will win while only 2 go for the Jets.

Game 5: Saints and Vikings each get 9 votes while the Cardinals get 3 and the Cowboys round up 2.
Game 6: Colts (12), Chargers (9) & Ravens (2). Cowboys get zip.

Game 7 (Super Bowl): Colts are favored by 9 of us with the Chargers and the Vikings getting 4 votes, followed by the Saints with 3 and the Cardinals at 2.
One player says it will end in a tie.

Don't let it get you down. The off-season will fly by and the Patriots will be cheating again before you know it!
